Matt Fraction writing Fear Itself is the biggest fear I have about this event. He's horribly inconsistant in quality.

Boy, oh boy. It’s driving me nuts. We gotta stop talking about it, because I’m just going to start saying stuff. Nine steps. Sh*t — sh*t — sorry. Nevermind. Ignore that.
I wonder if that's a red herring or a real clue...

Nrama: Another interesting thing about #500 was making Spider-Man — and Peter Parker — the co-star of the issue. What led you to that decision, and also, is that the first time we’ve seen Peter Parker and Tony Stark interacting since Tony forgot Peter’s secret identity post-”One More Day”?
Fraction: I believe so.

Did Fraction forget his own issue?
Peter Parker is the moral centre of the MU according to Fraction. This explains the current situation, actually.

Nrama: Obviously #500 had a lot of seeds of things to come. How quickly are we going to see some of that stuff picked up on — or is it kind of a slow burn?
Fraction: Very quickly. It is a slow burn.
Here we go.
So Iron man 7 and 500 has Spider-man in it but in 500 tony doesent know who spider-man is and he says its after OMD
In Iron man 7 did tony know who spider-man is i fogot and if he does them Matt Fraction I guess fogot that issue

I really enjoyed the interview. I love Fractions writing and really dig how writes Tony. He does drag things out a little too long sometimes that can be cut shorter, but other than that I dig it. I love his enthusiasm about Tony and writing comics and I'm excited about he plans for Tony in the future and the fact he mentioned the Marvel Fanfare where Tony and Doc Ock fought lets me know he did his research. I'm very intrigued about Fear Itself and Tony having to deal with magic. Can't wait!

Im excited for the Doc Ock arc. Hopefully its short and sweet.
And any guesses on Iron Man's role in Fear Itself?

By Fraction's standards three issues is short and sweet. I am not sure what Iron Man's role is but apparently it will catch us off guard in surprise.

That issue was before the mindwipe.

Loved it when he spoke about meeting Sal for the first time in ages. They've been working so closely together in the series for more than 2 years, and they meet only last Christmas? That's just mind boggling for me. And for him to have gotten to #3 at this point is great, I think, and here I was thinking he's spread himself too thin. He's definitely getting ahead on his issues, hopefully there won't be many delays with the series.

Actually in that issue, Tony only met Peter in one panel or so, but fully interacted with Spidey.
In 500 he had a lot of interaction with both.

The low expectations I'm having, I can only be pleasantly surprised. http://forums.comicbookresources.com/images/icons/icon14.gif

That is pretty much my philosophy when reading or seeing something. Set yourself up with low expectations and your experience will double the amount, then coming in with high expectations.

you didn't start reading Avengers until Bendis took over. and you prefer the Hood to other Avengers' villains.
