I liked the last issue. A little rushed to wrap it up, but not much. I really liked REBELS, but I get the feeling that Bedard had places to go that he never got to. Oh well, I'm happy for 28 issues. Based on sales, it probably shouldn't have made it halfway there. And there is really no hope of a return as a title after Flashpoint. Like the other 4 series that were axed, it was an underperformer subsidized by DC largess.

28 issues was actually more than I thought we'd get! I had a great time working with Andy Clarke and Claude St. Aubin. Claude and I go back years, all the way to Valiant Comics. And I hope I get to work with Andy again.

No L.E.G.I.O.N. or R.E.B.E.L.S. relaunch coming in September, but I am working on GREEN LANTERN: NEW GUARDIANS and another book with some cosmic overtones that they haven't announced yet.
