these are the reasons why homosexuality, old marriages, eyeglasses, polyester, birth control, infertile marriages, tall people, interacial marriages, oatmeal, single parents, jumping around on beds, wearing hawaiin shirts and eating what you want should be banned.

So do you homophobes think those things should be banned as well?

I'll tell you what should be banned.

Those eybrows should be banned!! Little children and puppies might fall in and never be seen again! (On the plus side, at least the puppies will provide sustenance for the children. Or vice versa...)

And I'm kinda okay with polyester being banned too. And old marriages. Old marriages should definitely be banned, for fear of unexpectedly seeing THIS in our kid's comic books:

Guy: Seventh, when it comes to gay adoption children can never succeed without a male and female role models at home. That's why single parents are forbidden to raise children.

Guy: The majority of Americans believe that homosexuality should be illegal. And what is popular is alway right. Remember, we live in a free country. We have the right to eat what we want. Jump on beds like a moron and wear bad hawaiin shirts. We also have the right to stop two people in love. So please, vote for justice because gays don't deserve basic human freedoms. Thank you

I think your big mistake was the thread title, eradicaar. I think it wasn't your intention, but it makes the whole affair look like a bait and switch near-trolling mess.

Plus, a lot of gay haters actually use 'I have nothing against homosexuality...' as a sort of preemptive self-license. Long time posters are naturally wary and defensive against the phrase.

Figure what out? Again, my objection is you wrote "this is a parody thread" in your initial post.

Here's the problem - 99% of parody threads suck. Having to say "this is a parody thread" in the first post is probably not a good sign of this being one of the 1% that doesn't. And that is purely what my commentary is about.

Okay I failed, event though usually let me just say I don't believe in editing posts because it makes the conversation feel less real, and all I edited was the boldness in the script of the video

I don't think you need to be banned, but I do think it would have been nice if you could have admitted that your attempt at a parody thread was a failure and accepted the bit of mild ridicule that's come your way as the proper punishment for said failure, rather than get defensive.
