Master of disguise

I read X-Men #5 lately. Great storyline. Like the idea the X-Men vs vampires. Wasn't sure at first but I really like it after all.
But there is something that is not working in that issue. First, it's a cool idea that Dr Nemesis shoot Wolverine with some nano technology to "shut down" his healing factor. But...
If the nanonites succeeded to shut down Wolverine's healing factor, that would mean they were active or on to begin their work when they enter Wolverine's body. So his healing factor was shot down directly from his dna. That's working. But was is not working is the fact, with his healing factor down, Wolverine's should then suffer from adamentium poisoning. The time he left Utopia to find Jubillee, he should have felt the poisoning.
On the other hand, if the nanonites were activated by Cyclops, I don't know, hours or days after they enter Wolverine's body, again, that is not working. If nanonites enter Wolverine's body and were dormant, his healing factor then will just simply wash them out of Wolverine system just like a flu.
Sorry, the story is great, but nothing stand. It's what we see more and more often with Marvel, a front story with nothing more. A story without depth. A lot of action and nothing more. Marvel give us action but they forgot their characters. It's like Kitty Pride in Uncanny X-Men. Have we seen Storm talking or be at Kitty's side? We don't even know how Kitty felt about Nightcrawler's death. They were partners and friends when they were with Excalibur. Nothing. All the X-books are about big action over action over action. Legacy was the exception. It was a kind of smooth book. Was refreshing...And what happen with Legacy...The Age of X..with a lot of action, and explosion and human kicking mutants butts and mutants kicking humans butts.
