edit: finished... it's always a pleasure to color fitz's work. All the shadows are laid out... just give em a nice black outline and then cover them with about 80% grey.

Otto you will be SOOOO jealous - I got the original Lobster Johnson from somewhere on the thread ( if memory serves) and he has an AWESOME skull hanging out with him. mmmm... skulls

I got three original signed drawings. They're unbelievably delicate. Also some cool computer prints - my fave of those is the one of HB grabbing some long thing - he rocks! I will risk scanning it so you can all see. Sigh

Meh! I was mainly just doing the comic characters. Plus, I'm not at work for a week, so the 'finger' thing isn't in my blood now. It was a reflection of how I was feeling during my working day. :mad:

Wow, these are quite simply extraordinary, I love the pencil sketch the most…I’m always quite fond of pencil shading, you don’t see that as much as finished pics (if the artist can digitally color, anyway.) They’re just fantastic, The colors on the finished pieces are so well done, I feel I’m looking at pictures of ‘soon to be available at your local comic store’ covers.

Wow..This topic has a lot of pages…yeesh, well so you know I’m referring to the stuff on the FIRST page, as that lead to some confusion the last time I commented on earlier page thread. Aah, the restaurant of doom, one of my favourites.

1. Don't believe those lying Tourist Books that say they only speak Catalan in Barcelona.

2. Don't sit in a restaurant with no other tourists, no translated menu's and no multi lingual staff, that don't speak Catalan

3. Don't blindly order food if you don't like or want to puke at the sight of anything with tentacles or that is slimy.

4. Be very lucky, and receive monkfish in a delicious sauce, phew

Walking down the old part of Barcelona called Las Ramblas, met a large, bald gentlemen, who wore only shorts so that he could show off his incredible burns that covered his body, felt sorry for him until he started picking at a huge scab causing what can only be described as 'oozing'

It was one of the most gruesome things I've seen for a long time, and I wasn't going to let Fitz take a photo as it would encourage him to beg even more, as he would more than likely have expected a reimbursement cash style.
There were also women hauling babies around looking at you and then asking you for money.

I must be missing the gene then, because I hate shopping for clothes and shoes, and I'm six years past being 15. The only time I've had fun looking at clothes at the mall was when I went with a group of my classmates and we were making fun of the prostitot clothes all the stores were stocking.

I design and illustrate Fruit (slot) machines as a day job. Which means drawing cartoons all day (usually) and a few graphics. And zombies are next in line as a 'theme'

Per your thread "Fritzroy's & Petersen's Fan Page", I totally dig Fitzroy's and Petersen's art, but they already have threads dedicated to their art, so I think the appreciation posts are more appropriate in each artists' thread.

For me, when people start new threads (when the topic already exists), it just makes for cross-posting/confusion when I follow so many thread. I'm going to delete the Fan Page thread so I don't have to hop back-and-forth with dupe topics. :) Thanks, j

I think that a limericks contest is something people can do with the same comfort level as posting to the board. Photoshop/art even/ cutting-pasting images etc. maybe a little beyond some folks.
