D&D, his proudest and most hilarious moment, was dressed as a Wizard, top a hill, fighting in costume with a knight and nearly falling to his death (for real) during a live D&D enactment...
Hehehehehehhehe.
Hahahaha! DnD fans really do live enactments of stuff?
Wow... ya' learn something new every day. =O

Yes *hangs head* yes they do. I know this guy, I talk to him. God, what if it infects me. Athena will divorce me. I push it enough with the comics and movies.

Haven't you seen the pictures of Anakin in her cute elfy-Robin Hoody costume?
Yeah... she's our resident LARP player and Girlscout.
I saw one of those going on once... it scared me. (I'm safer with the dice and the little metal miniatures)

How the hell are you getting around the 10 character minimum limit?
I just noticed it when I started to color...
I was wondering whether I should ink it before I start... then I saw that and just lost my train of thought.

How the hell are you getting around the 10 character minimum limit?
.
Maybe it's my mysterious feminine magic
or maybe it's 'cause I'm creative
or is it that I simply don't recognise the ten character limit
or do I perhaps have some incredible techno tricks the likes of which you can only dream.
...and you, my friend must learn not to sweat the minutiae !

I got three original signed drawings. They're unbelievably delicate. Also some cool computer prints - my fave of those is the one of HB grabbing some long thing - he rocks! I will risk scanning it so you can all see. Sigh

LMAO, thankfully, no.
My mind actually, has been in a very weird state of mind. Today I got busted by my mother, simply because I asked a talking Yoda doll if I could get laid. In a 'Toys R Us' of all places. He said no, which broke my heart. (No, not like that. I asked the question to a Yoda doll that in the TRU)

Robert, I can only guess what this is in response to because recently I have been introduced to the amazing modern convenience of the IGNORE LISTTM. That's right, after you've given someone a chance to shape up their act and they're obviously not getting the message just put them on your own IGNORE LISTTM and you'll never be bothered by them again.
You know, this is probably the rudest, snarkiest post I've ever written. Offended? Insulted? Hey, this is a perfect time to use the IGNORE LISTTM! I'll be seeing you... or maybe I won't! :D :D :D
The IGNORE LIST is brought to you by CBR, fine providers of THE INVISIBLE MODETM and REPORT THIS MESSAGE TO THE MODERATORTM. CBR giving you the tools to keep your forum civil.

Wow, these are quite simply extraordinary, I love the pencil sketch the most…I’m always quite fond of pencil shading, you don’t see that as much as finished pics (if the artist can digitally color, anyway.) They’re just fantastic, The colors on the finished pieces are so well done, I feel I’m looking at pictures of ‘soon to be available at your local comic store’ covers.
Wow..This topic has a lot of pages…yeesh, well so you know I’m referring to the stuff on the FIRST page, as that lead to some confusion the last time I commented on earlier page thread. I’ll have to scroll through a bit see what else is around, just wanted to say something about the other pieces regardless.

Aah, the restaurant of doom, one of my favourites.
1. Don't believe those lying Tourist Books that say they only speak Catalan in Barcelona.
2. Don't sit in a restaurant with no other tourists, no translated menu's and no multi lingual staff, that don't speak Catalan
3. Don't blindly order food if you don't like or want to puke at the sight of anything with tentacles or that is slimy.
4. Be very lucky, and receive monkfish in a delicious sauce, phew
Scabman

I must be missing the gene then, because I hate shopping for clothes and shoes, and I'm six years past being 15. The only time I've had fun looking at clothes at the mall was when I went with a group of my classmates and we were making fun of the prostitot clothes all the stores were stocking.

The story practically writes it self. Can't do teen angst. Too old. Don't
remember. Middle aged angst? Phew... who wants to read that? How

Firstly, thanks for all the positive feedback on the pic, guess it worked better for a lot of you once I'd inked it.
Secondly, pic is up for grabs. Still can't decide what to do, so more ideas people.

Hmm, are you meaning you want to sell it? (sorry if it sounds like a stupid question, I'm just curious)
We could always have a contest on here too, maybe have people submit their own works of hellboy and have the best win it? Of course with Peterson aound there's really no contest, so you could save the trouble of a long thread by just giving it to him. :p
I'm still smarting from the haiku picks.

Er, thanks.
No, not selling it. Usually give them away. But, wanted to make this one different, maybe fun.
Tad, any thoughts?

Hiya rhox01 :)
Per your thread "Fritzroy's & Petersen's Fan Page", I totally dig Fitzroy's and Petersen's art, but they already have threads dedicated to their art, so I think the appreciation posts are more appropriate in each artists' thread.
For me, when people start new threads (when the topic already exists), it just makes for cross-posting/confusion when I follow so many thread. I'm going to delete the Fan Page thread so I don't have to hop back-and-forth with dupe topics. :) Thanks, j

While Fitz and I are thankful for your appreciation, Lady J is right, another thread is silly.
although the puppet show you were going to do sounded like fun!!!
Fitz,
what about a contest with a 4-5 panel strip comprised of googled images?
Athena be judge?
best/funniest/etc wins your drawing
although limricks sound like fun too
I think that a limericks contest is something people can do with the same comfort level as posting to the board. Photoshop/art even/ cutting-pasting images etc. maybe a little beyond some folks.

There once was a guy named Fitzroy,
Who thought that a dog was his boy.
He tried giving him candy,
Which a boy would think dandy,
But a dog would think only "Destroy!"
(I don't know.) :)

true,...though they could just put in image tags and display the googled images with text in the post....
but I do like limricks better!!!
A geeeky student named Peter,
saw a Redhead, he had to meet her,
got bit by a spider;
does stunts without wire;
and the redhead? she just calls him 'tee-ger'.

Oh God, the limericks have it.
Get writing people.
We'll also with the comic book theme.
So, winner gets the inked 'Give Up?', and anything else I can think to throw in.
If she will, JNapper could judge, unless she wants to enter.
Closing date Friday 20th August

There was a boy named Kevin,
He loved the number seven,
but he could not yet count,
his eyes were as a fount,
He drowned and went to heaven.

Fitzroy was a very nice lad
Who had an aversion to plaid.
He was swarmed by mosquitos,
Stung from head to his feetos,
Now he's covered in bites. Not too bad!
Yeah I said it. Feetos! :)
Okay, comics.
Our boy Fitz is a Hellboy fanatic,
Who lives a nice life in his attic.
When he logs on to post
More great artwork, he boasts,
"Here's a Hellboy crossover with Static!"

Everyone, he tried to trick.
He had so much art
it just fell all apart.
And he sobbed on a slab of brick.

There once was a kid named shane.
He was a gigantic pain.
He was annoying me
and I smacked him, times three,
his blood is now falling like rain.
(shane is my best bud, but he is a HUGE pain in the ass)
