So I went to the San Jose Super Comic/Toy show today and found some pretty good things. Finished off my DHP Sin City run, a few Kabuki issues here and there, and some figures, etc.

So the guy that had about 30+ long comic boxes had a sale with his stock. He had all the issues at 3 for $1. Surely enough I dropped about $11 on his booth alone.

As I was leaving, we were talking about how I'm into Hellboy/Migola, etc, etc.

He had mentioned that he bought a set of Alpha Flight off (then) Inker who worked on it along with Mike Migola. He tells me that there is a set of Alpha Flight all signed by Mike, "Just look for the cards on the back"

Surely enough, I went back and there they were. Old school Mignola signature galore, straight from the 80's!

(I had left one of the issues [the one with Magneto on the cover] due to rusting of one of the staples that had effected the book)d

i remember mike mignola doing an interview saying how he was always a marvel guy more but was always given the bad titles to draw and even mentioned alpha fight.

so those are comics he hated to draw. i still think they look cool!

Yeah I read various articles with him mentioning that. He always wanted to do "monsters" and Hulk was the closest thing.

With these comics, I just think it's awesome I found such a special set of these. Especially with an original signature. The last 2 years of my life just hardcore HB/Migola searching/diggig, this is just awesome to me.
