I'm just asking this question concerning that she never mentioned her after she lefted Gotham. :frown:

I can't imagine her having a negative reaction; they were always friends. And it's not like Cassie will be resuming the Batgirl identity, so there shouldn't be any threat there.

Especially since DC had the "Bruce told her to do it" excuse as to her disappearance.

I think Cass will just be the Bat-operative of China, which is why she is in Hong Kong. I don't think DC had an idea on what to do with her, which is why she went to limbo in the first place. Now, they still probably don't know what to do with her in Gotham, but this fits Batman Inc.

well, we'll see what her deal is wednesday.

I'd like to see her brought back into the fold though.

Hopefully it'll be giving back the Batgirl costume to who it truly belongs.

Steph will go crazy and turn to a life of crime as The Clue-Mistress. Bwa-Ha-Ha!

Nah. Really, I don't know.

Barbara Gordon?

Seriously, nobody is going to be Batgirl except Stephanie for the foreseeable future.

Babs?

I guess... might not fit as well as it used to. Cape won't flutter as well.

Not sure. Steph or Babs haven't mentioned her at all, which makes both iof them look like a pile of crap. Cass has been overlooked when she shouldn't have been since DC really is trying to erase her. I don't see her interacting with Steph anytime in the near future. We got Red Robin soon and that's it for Cass for who knows how long. Steph will most likely keep the Batgirl job, wouldn't make sense to have her give it up. Hopefully when they do meet up again there'll be hugs since they're meant to be good friends. I really don't know what DC is up to with Cass ever.

True, you would think that Babs of all people would have either went looking for her or had some photo of her about her lair somewhere instead of acting like she wasn't around for 6 years

I don't understand why we can't have two Batgirls, particularly considering we have two Batmen.

Yeah, with the whole Batman Inc., there really is no reason at all not to have Cass as Batgirl anyomre.

Steph in Gotham, Cass can have the rest of the world.

Cass would support Steph as Batgirl. I believe she wanted to give it to her, and that she faked the whole leaving Gotham to leave behind Bruce's legacy. I guess it was under Bruce's orders for her to go to China and leave the mantle to Steph as a test for when he comes back.

Steph and Cass were big friends. I don't see anything else but hugs and hanging out when the two meet again.

I think her reaction would be something like this:

"Oh. OH. God, you know you could have TOLD ME you had to do some sorta mission for ole' Tall, Dark, and Gloomy. Sheesh, you mysterious people with your mysterious lives and your mysterious mysterousness!"

No, I'm talking about Cass. To me she had earned the right to be Batgirl. Stephanie should go back to be the spolier. Also I know that there could be two Batgirls, but what else are they going to extend? There is already two batmen are we going to have two robin's as well? Two Batwomen? Two Huntress's?Two Robins?

We already have two Robins. Damian Wayne as Robin and Tim Drake as Red Robin. So there's no problem in having two Batgirl's. That said, Stephanie will probably be a bit mad at not telling her the plan, just as she was with Bruce. But she won't strike her like she did Bruce. And as to Barabra, I'm sure she knows by now from Bruce that Cassandra was told to do what she did in handing over the costume to Stephanie.

I think DC wants a Batgirl to be more marketable to girls, like how Barbara Gordon was.

I think she might react to this: "Cass, now you know that Bruce told you to "let it go" but now, that I am the new Batgirl, there just isn't for the two of us." Cass: "I agree, but I just want to be sure that Bruce and Oracle choose the right girl for the job."

It would be pretty interesting (though darn hard) to get a poll of which Batgirl (Barbara, Cassandra, Stephanie) women tend to prefer, if any, after reading their series. I assume that the overall number of women who have read material for all three is generally too low to get any useful information.

Anyway, I don't wish Stephanie Batgirl any ill will. She's getting her own rogues gallery (hopefully), so that already shows more commitment to mainlining her series than Cass ever got. Maybe DC will continue to support and include Steph in things, treat her like a first class bat-citizen. It would also be nice if both previous Batgirls were acknowledged in her series in places they ought to be. Both characters would (if taken seriously) cast a large shadow at times.

If Miller is writing? Nothing. She'll ignore Cass like she has since day one. Miller just seems to not want to mention the character EVER. Ya know, unless it's a retcon to justify his own dismissive writing.
