Let's create the next Marvel Alt universe

We've had zombies, apes, 2099, Ultimate, Noir, 1604 (or whatever that one was called)...I say the next one we should get is food. Every character is a food (yes I got this idea after I made my sarcastic post about Spidey being a chicken nugget. Don't ask.)

Captain America is all-American so he's gotta be a hamburger. Why not a hot dog? Because Cyclops is a hot dog...because he's a dick. Hulk has to be big and green so he's a watermelon. Wolverine needs to be yellow, tough and prickly so he's a pineapple. You get the idea.

i kow there is already a MAX line that is darker,

I'd like to see that line toned down a bit so we can see it in the mainstream Heros, with more day to day struggles.

It would be fun to see Spiderman deal with, the hunger. I mean the only real baddies that have had the venom symbiote have always been questionable characters to begin with, but Parker, he's an upstanding guy.

Similar to Zombies, where Spidey was dealing with the zombie hunger. Have him bond with the alien symbiote. Regular Parker, by day, Spidey by night having to deal with the hunger and trying to aim it at baddies.

Think, Dexter but Spiderman.

I'd buy it. Though now we need a more down to earth explanation of Galactus. Um...galactus is a giant mass of single celled organisms that were the side effect of one of teh first super soldier formulas. the formula took a mind of it's own and works liek a hive mind. Billions upon billions of tiny organisms working in unison to eat everything in site like a giant cloud of death. Man....that sounds liek a sci-fi....like a syfy pictures original. LOL.

The best titles they've put out to date, IMHO, are Alias (which was eventually cancelled & we got The Pulse for a while, very PG-13), Supreme Power (which eventually left the MAX line & died away) & Thor: Vikings. MAX need to put out more like this.

Agreed. If you aren't pushing the enevelope as far as what even a MAX title will allow (within reason) you aren't doing your job.

I wouldn't mind a MAX line or something where there is no magic and everything is as true to real life as comics can be. Have Spider-Man deal with some actual problems and not always be able to find a way out of them, maybe even having to kill some times.

I'm already creating an alternate Marvel universe with my X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I know it's just fanfiction and the basic assumption is fanfiction sucks because if it didn't Marvel would have done it by now. I'm pretty sure it doesn't qualify, but with the state of Ultimate Marvel it's all I got besides 616. I know it's pathetic on some levels, but it's something I love doing and until I run out of ideas I'll keep channeling my inner Stan Lee and keep doing it.
