Holy crap...I didn't realize that it was finally time for this to come out! Kind of a weak preview, since it's just a couple pages with art we've seen before, but I don't care - I couldn't be more excited for this!

This series looks like it'll be fantastic.
I anticipate that the issues after this will be late but I guess that's the price for Pacheco art.

I dont know what to think. It looks good and I want to know the story because its an ultimate book, but at the same time I do not like Thor. If you guys give it high praise i might change my mind.

if they take him back to his roots i'll surely pick this up! not enough info to determine that from the preview

I'm a big fan of Hickman and the more I've seen of this book it may be the first Ultimate book that I pick up. I'll at least give it a couple of issues. Can't resist Hickman or Thor so I think I gotta do it.

I'm in the same boat. I love Pacheco's art, but I can't stand Thor the bore in the regular Marvel universe, or the Ultimate universe either. But it's hard to pass up a Carlos Pacheco drawn comic book. Hard choice for me as well.

Not a huge 616 Thor fan but I'm thinking of giving the ultimate one a try.
Anyone know if this is monthly or bimonthly, I find I have little patience for bimonthly titles.

... O.o Sold. The fact that Thor wasn't saying "forsooth the world tree burneth!" and actually spoke more like a normal person (albeit on those 3-4 bubbles) is a good sign too.

Not much information has been released about this series, but that doesn't keep me from being extremely psyched for it!
Hickman + Pacheco + Ultimate Thor (pre-Loeb) = MASSIVE NERDGASM!!
Not too thrilled about the colorist, but other than that it all looks pretty good. Can't wait.

The series is only 4 issues anyways, so if you like the first issue well enough, you might as well pick up the other 3.

As far as I know, this issue is indeed monthly (with the fourth and final issue out in January). Don't think this will be delayed, either, as Pacheco hasn't done any interiors since Ultimate Avengers, which ended in April.
