Pleased to see Automatic Kafka make the list. However, a bit surprised Wildcats 3.0 got no mention.

Harris' art made Ex Machina unreadable for me (too bad b/c the writing really was great). I want to see drawings, not a bunch of google image traces.

I agree with about 99% of this list. The only thing I thought was missing was WildC.A.T.S. The book that started it all and also had some very good story lines including the racism storyline when they return to Khera written by Alan Moore.

Also one of my favorite characters in comics was introduced in one comic on your list, Backlash.

I loved this list. I also love that Ellis and Moore dominated the list.

by the way, to everyone who missed it, WildC.A.T.s made the list at #16, and they included all of the runs in that by looking at the authors they listed.

I think I can agree with most of the list, except for Deathblow and Automatic Kafka, which I never read.
One of the missing comics, at least for me, was the sadly shortlived "Establishment" by Ian Edginton and Charlie Adlard, one of my alltime favorite Superhero books and defnitely one of my favorite Wildstorm comicbooks.
Of course I might have placed some more to the top and others would have ranked lower but that is to be expected.

The "others" mention in the Wildcats credits I don't think does justice to what Joe Casey did with the team in Wildcats 3.0. I went into Wildcats 3.0 for the first time since dropping it early in the Jim Lee/Brandon Choi days (I still don't know why I picked it up) and ended up loving every single issue. Wildcats 3.0 is one of my Top 5 Wildstorm series for sure.

I wish I could get my hands on Ellis' "The Authority". Not sure if the trades are out of print or I just can't find them (and often forget about them) but I just can't seem to track them down. That would be a great series to make available digitally for iPad.

I loved every era of WildC.A.T.s and Wildcats with the exception maybe of the last couple of years (didn't pick em up really) and still love the first and only issue of Morrison and Lee's. From the silly cameos of Scott and Jean honeymooning after their wedding, crossovers with Cyberforce, to the short-lived return of Travis Charest and the Phillips run to 3.0....Grifter, Zeolot, and the rest provided me with hours of comic entertainment.

Good list, if a little heavy on the Moore & the Ellis.

Just to throw my thoughts in, I'd go for Stormwatch: Team Achilles over PHD. Micah Wright was an excellent writer, and his little personal scandal destroyed a potentially great career.

I'd also add Wintermen, DV8 -both Wood & Ellis' versions, Silent Dragon, and Sam Kieth's 3 minis, Zero Girl 1 & 2 and Four Women.

Wow, Danger Girl and Battlechaser's didn't even make the list. Ofcourse they hardly ever came out, but atleast they looked great and isn't that.... more... important?:confused::smile:

Man, I remember buying the first issue of WildC.A.T.S, couldn't tell you what was going on but it looked great enough to stick around for the first four issues atleast. Then you get to issue five, still not sure what was going on but look at the cool gate-fold page! It was awesome! Wait, there's one at the end of the issue, too. YEAH!:)

GEN 13 wasn't a great book, but it looked great. That's the trend with me in regards to Wildstorm I guess.

Officially, Zander Cannon should also be one of the creators on Top 10. And morally too: he started from page 13 of the first issue and contributed hugely to it's creativity.

Throw me in for another vote on 3.0 and Achilles, those were awesome and 3.0 actually did something that Authority promised on but never entirely fulfilled:

A Proactive Team.

Nice to see Kafka get a shout out, I thought I was the only one to read that series...
