Creature Of The Night

I think he could really pull it off here's why
1. He hasn't got a pretty boy look
2. he's got the build
3. He can play dark tormented character like he played Angel

Eh, I suppose but I really don't see it. But then I can't see Bale as a good Bruce Wayne either...

Good lord no. (And I liked him in both Angel and Bones.)

Firstly, I am Bale fan, so why would I want to see him replaced as Batman when I think he is a great choice.
Secondly, I would be horrified if David Boreanaz was cast as Batman.

Greg Rucka suggested Boreanaz for Batman in Wizard magazine several years ago.

I would actually really love to see him as Bruce but Bale as Bruce is my personal choice, I have the whole Batman Universe cast almost
Bale-Young Bruce
Clint Eastwood- Old Bruce (like DKR)
David Boreanaz - Nightwing/Dick, later Batman (I would love to see it happen in a movie because it would be a mind fuck)
Jensen Ackles- Jason
Jack Nicholson - Alfred (Yes weird choice but I could see it if done right)
Tim -Shia Labeouf
Summer Glau - Cassandra Cain
Scarlet Johnasson - Oracle
Damian - Alexander Jerome Gould
Joker - Ledger
Riddler - Johnny Depp
Catwoman - Kristen Stewart (Young catwoman)
Catwoman (Mary-Louise Parker older catwoman)
I have alot more but Thats just a start

Clint Eastwood is TOO old for old Bruce, (he is 80 now!) but would have been perfect in his Dirty Harry years.
Michael Caine needs to stay as Alfred.

LOL, that's exactly what I was thinking. He's not nearly good-looking enough to be Bruce. Which why I was confused that the OP thinks that someone that "hasn't got a pretty boy look" would make a good Bruce.

DKR's Bruce was old as shit to, thats why I said it, he'd make a perfect Bruce if they made a movie about that.

I like Boreanaz, but not as Batman. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I don't think he could quite pull it off. On the other hand, I think that he would have done fine as Hal Jordan.
Boreanaz doesn't quite have the "detached" quality that I think a Batman actor has to have. I think that Keaton and Bale have both been able to pull off this "dangerously zoned out" feel, and I think that even Kilmer could almost do it, if he had a better script. Its not so much about the actor not being good enough, but just not being quite the right kind of actor.

I have my own version of how the Bat universe should be cast.
Keep in mind, this list does ignore reality a bit since I'll ignore that time has passed and people have gotten older or maybe even passed away. More of a 'dream' cast than a realistic one.
I love these things.
Bruce Wayne/Batman - Micheal Keaton. The man brought an almost absent minded intensity to the role that worked perfectly. Best Batman actor to date.
Runner up - Val Kilmer. Batman Forever was crap. But Val Kilmer did the best he could with what he had, and I feel his performance shined through despite the quality of the film and director being sub par. Kilmer played a decent Batman.
Old Bruce/Batman - I got to agree with you on Clint Eastwood. Perhaps a slightly younger version would work better, but even now there's still no beating him. Hopefully if they ever make an animated Dark Knight Returns they'll ask him to voice.
Runner up - Kevin Conroy. He's about the right age now I think, or getting there. He used to do plays (Shakespeare stuff I think) so acting shouldn't be a problem. He looks the part fairly well. And let's face it, he is the voice of Batman for oodles and oodles of fans, myself included.
Second runner up - Micheal Keaton. Acknowledging that he has aged, he'd do well in the part, and it'd be good to see him as Batman again.
Dick Grayson/Nightwing - Chris O'Donnell. Again, the movies sucked, but I thought he did well with what he had and was more than okay for the part.
Jason Todd/Red Hood - Jensen Ackles. Got to agree with you on this too. He caught the performance with the voice and emotional range perfectly in the animated film. And though I haven't seen Supernatural, I hear good things about it. And he looks about right for the part.
Alfred Pennyworth - Micheal Gough. In my opinion he was the best Alfred yet.
Runner up - Ian Abercrombie. Birds of Prey wasn't very good. But the casting here I thought was perfect.
Tim/Red Robin - One of the few I don't have cast in my head yet.
Cassandra Cain - Tough. I don't know of many Asian actresses of the right age (she is Asian, right?). I'll go with Gianna Jun, who played the lead in the live action version of Blood the Last Vampire. She's the only actress that roughly matches the part that I know of.
Oracle - Dina Meyer. Again, bad TV series, but good casting.
Damian - Just does not exist.
Joker - Ledger. Not quite what I picture when I think Joker, but the take has grown on me and is the best we've had so far.
Riddler - A tie between Johnny Depp (playing the role seriously) or Leonardo DiCaprio.
Catwoman - Michelle Pfeiffer. She was perfect in the role, and being too young to know what the actresses in the Adam West series were like or compare to, I'll stick with Michelle Pfeiffer circa Batman Returns.
Jimmy Bond

A lot of people have suggested Jon Hamm from Mad Men as Superman. I'm one of the people against that, but I think he'd make an excellent Batman.
I do like Christian Bale as Batman. However, I have a feeling he's going to leave with Nolan after the third movie, so it won't hurt to find replacements.
As for Alfred, Michael Caine is fantastic, and I would not change that. if we had to, I'm thinking Sean Connery. The Alfred in Batman: Earth One is based off of him, and I've always seen Alfred as a retired James Bond.

I love Boreanaz, but he's not a movie star. If they did a Batman live action TV series, then I'd strongly consider it...
