If you could pick your 3 favorite covers from the crossover, which ones would it be? Also poll coming on your overall favorite cover artist. I really love these 3 and my favorite overall was Granov

My favorite cover was the Uncanny X-Men #523 variant by David Finch (even though it was way too similar to Uncanny #492, the team assembled was cool). Overall favorite was Finch.

This cover in particular...

David Yardin did the X-Factor covers, just fyi.
Can someone post the Heroic Age variants? I haven't seen any of them.

I'm slowly becoming less and less of a fan of Finch. I think my favourite thing of his was Ultimatum (ironically I suppose, as it was so bad otherwise).
Granov did the kinda "painterly" ones like the Rogue and Hop one right? I loved those. Though he consistently drew Emma completely differently to what she looks like atm.

Probably Rogue/Hope back to back.
The rest were as boring as snot.

Yuck, I hate Adi Granov art. I guess my favourite would be the unused Finch cover with Cipher instead of Cypher.

This is a really tough choice. I really did love Ari Granov's covers but I thought some of the other variants were just fantastic too, especially the New Mutants Heroic Age variant..

I literally groaned when I saw that solicit. The theme has been done everywhere, I think even "Highlights for Children" had Goofus & Gallant crumbling to the wind.

Wolverine should seek help. Thats borderline paedophelia right there in that cover...maybe adi granov should also seek help for even drawing such perverted images.

Though Granov's were spectacular the entire time, Finch's X-foce #27 variant, for me as a big Cable and Hope fan, makes him my favorite cover artist for Second Coming.

They should have had a dead Nightcrawler with a crazy cover that said "IN THIS ISSUE: NIGHTCRAWLER DIES! FOR REAL!" and way at the top, a pic of Pixie giving a thumbs up with the caption "PIXIE BACK UP FEATURE".

Well, I think Granov had more time to develop the ideas for his covers.
He's one of the best cover artists today, and I think he did the best covers to Second Coming. And he's is the only one who did covers for all the books directly involved with second coming.
I just don't like how he changes the costumes and designs that you will find inside the book. But this is just a minor detail against his GREAT coloring work and rendering.

I'm just waiting for the final script of another X-Book, I think. Thanks!
Back to the topic... My favourite cover is that one Granov did for New Mutants #13 (second coming chapter 7).
Also, I really love the cover he did for Second Coming #2 (ch. 14).

Good to hear, looking forward to it (though, I have no idea what X-book it is)!
On topic; New Mutants #13 did indeed have a wonderful Granov cover, all the particles blowing in the wind, and the cracking on the solemn characters, just very well done, it also was something different which made it even better.

Thanks for posting! He is great. Just one minor tidbit though. Granov wasnt the only one who did all the covers for the SC books. Finch did variants for all of Granov issues.
I thought your New Mutants cover was the best of the Heroic Age variants. Im sad to see you leave the title. Any word on any future projects (preferably in the X-verse ;D)
Edited to add: Just read your response to Count Yoda. Glad to hear you will pencil another X book. Look forward to that

UXM 525.
More than one x-man on it and they were doing actual fighting as opposed to just standing there. Well, Namor anyway. Arguably Armor, too.
