In Supergirl #54 we see in Kara's closet of solitude an Amazonian spear (behind her costume) and a photo of her fishing trip with Cassie on her left.

Glad to see her connection with the Amazons has not been forgotten!

Just cause we are behind computers does not give us the right to be rude to something as innocent as this. You just did not have to bother replying.

And yes it is nice to see Kara does cherish her time with the amazons and her friends.

I like how the picture with Cassie is broken like she's thrown it down a couple times, but she put it back up cause she still cares.

yes, the whole picture does look quite intricate when one studies it closely. Cass and Supergirl should hang out more.

I did used to like the old Adventure tales where she had different costumes for whatever occasion demanded..maybe Cassie could do the same, have a mixture of outfits depending on the mood/adventure. I used to really like Karas high-thighed red boots!

Sometimes I'm too analytical for my own good. I was looking at the spear and thinking: Why would the Amazons waste her superstrength on a spear? Some kind of bludgeoning weapon or even a sword would suit her much better. Superstrength is not a ranged discipline.

Sometimes I'm just a geek.

I don't think it was about strength... Alot of tactical training is to teach you to learn skills that are outside of your comfort level...

Superstrenght is relative.
Sure they are strong as ten men (hopefully), but if they come across a cyclops or a Heracles...

I assumed that it is a ceremonial piece that Kara uses as part of the honor guard at Amazonian rituals.
