Classic British television from the 70s featuring homo superior
born with superhuman mental abilities. Low budget effects.
The Tomorrow People, and their A.I., had telepathy, telekinesis,
and a computer-guided teleportation they called "jaunting."
I think it was remade again in the 90s.

Loved the original when it aired on Nick. Didn't catch the remake.

Loved this show growing up in the 70's, althoughthe opening hand on the credits used to freak me out. For a kids show it could be quite nasty. i distinctly remember a girl spontaneously combusting which i really didn't like. Still, alot of 70's British kids programmes were slightly wrong and most likely would never get made today. You should try and check out "Children of the Stones" or even "The Double Deckers"

The opening credits used to scare the shite out of me as a kid too. I remember coming home from school and being terrified by this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xez4o1ujOPI), and even though it's obviously cheesy today, it still scares me a bit today. It also helped that it was a great kids programme, the 90's remake was bloody awful though.
As for Children of the Stones it's a great piece of Nigel Kneale-lite for kids, and still stands up surprisingly well today. Also worth watching was The Changes which is sadly a bit forgotten these days.

I don't mind parodies, mash-ups or opening titles, but links to part or all of the shows are prohibited.
