I think what people are saying is that you currently have a near-perfect line-up, with perhaps a touch of contoversy over Bane or Knockout!

However, I must say I like Black Alice's presence on the team, too....

Manhunter - Kate just needs to cross the line. Plus with the six she can
kill villains to her hearts content while keeping an eye on
the team.

Ragdoll - Without Ragdoll you lose a lot of the flavor that makes the team
crazy fun.

Deadshot - Any team of villains needs a weapons master. He's the best one
in the villain pool that isn't overpowered (ie Deathstroke).

Looker - I like having a supernatural element on the team but Black Alis is
way too powerful for Secret Six. Jeanette is ok but I think a vampire
would be more fun on the team than a Banshee. It's not like Looker
doesn't have more than enough skeletons in the closet to make her
an interesting part of the mix.

Bane - I never would have thought I would like Bane. Until S6 he was always
more of a plot point than a fully developed character. I'd love to see
how he would interact with the two characters above that aren't
already on the team. Would he and Kate fight like cats and dogs?
Would he be as protective towards Looker as he is towards Scandal?
How would she react to that?

Mercy Graves - She needs something to do since apparently Luthor is going
around with a robot Lois Lane these days. There have always been hints
that there is more to her than meets the eye but noone has ever really
explored it. S6 seems to be a good place for characters like this to grow. It also makes people wonder if Luthor is using her to keep an eye on the team and possibly coming back as Mockingbird.

I like the team, but have to confess again that I'd really love to see Gail take an extended crack at Gentleman Ghost. We got a hint or two in the series that he's around, but I think he'd make a quirky, permanent addition to the team. I wouldn't want to read him though unless Gail was writing him, because he is so idiosyncratic and there is so much unexplored territory with him that I could only imagine what she'd do... virgins and all.

Honestly I have to say that the cast of SS is the weakest point for me. With the exception of Deadshot, I'm not particularly attached to them. The stories are great though.

With the Secret Six on split, a new six arise. [Just a rebooted take on the concept].

Tsunami: Miya Shimada was born in Santa Barbara, California she was part of her high school's water polo, earning a scholarship to the University of California in Santa Barbara majoring in Aquatic Biology. It was during her time at the University she discovered something about herself. The ability to control the tide, she further tested herself and her abilities to find she was also insanely strong and could break records that not even Michael Phelps could touch.

Moving to Hawaii, to get her Masters in Oceanography. She never intended on becoming a villain, but her love for the ocean blinded her. NCTAMS PAC, has long been on the list in regards to its pollution. When told that there was nothing else she or anyone at the University could do. Miya took things into her own hands.

In a fit of rage, she took to destroying nearly half of the station. Realizing what she had did, Miya dropped out of the University of Hawaii and retreated, and no one is sure where she is now.

Gisbourne: Merlyn King, from Tacoma, Washington grew up hunting with his father, Arthur King who was a well known Archer within the city. It was his Dad who taught all he knew about Archery, so much so that he trained for the Olympics.

Arthur was proud of his son, unfortunately he and wife Guinevere were both murdered in front of their young son. Merlyn was fourteen and this life shattering event forever changed him. He quit the Olympic team, and began training his body and mind.

Ra's al Ghul came to notice the young man's ferocity. Recruiting him, there Ra's would train him, so that the young Archer would learn more than just bows and arrows. Soon Merlyn was able to square off with Ra's favorite student Sandra Wu-San.

Returning to Washington State, he sought to end the lives of those who took them. His notoriety and trade mark black arrow sparked a nemesis in the would-be Robin Hood, Green Arrow.

So, he began to call himself Gisbourne.

Currently she is playing an unwilling part of Key's plans, and would kill to be on her own again.

The Guitarist: Indiana Bowin, grandson of Isaac Bowin. Indy was born deaf, and became obsessed with sound. Iowa studied the works of his Grandfather. His goal is to acquire his Grandfather's violin, until then he works on handcrafting his guitar.

He's traveled to India to meet with the same fakhir who taught his Grandfather, the fakhir oddly enough is still alive. While a relatively old man, the fakhir agrees to teach Indiana, if only Indiana agrees to help the fakhir with some unfinished business.

Indiana is taught Silambam, and Kuttu Varisai. Each task he completes grants him a step closer to knowing the powers that his Grandfather possessed. Upon his completion of all nine tasks he departs India and returns to America.

Running into the likes of Black Canary, Flash and Green Arrow.

I would have to say that, in order of sacrifice, I'm probably least attached to Jeanette, at this point at least, but I do still like her.

I haven't really warmed up to Black Alice on the team yet, but I loved Deadshot offering her a smoke.

I do, however, worry that with a book like this, what I get "comfortable" with and what is best to maintain the insane tension of the book might not always coincide. I originally wouldn't have ever thought of replacing Knockout, but the loss of the character has really made for an interesting story.

I have always loved Bane's potential, but I really love him in this book.

I'm torn. I think the current lineup are great, but I also thought the rotating sixth spot was a great way to highlight obscure DC characters. Not to mention a fun running gag.

Of the current six, I could live without Catman and Jeanette. Blake is ready to fly solo, temporarily at least. Miniseries maybe?

Jeanette is awesome, but so far hasn't recieved the kind of character study or "omg that's so wrong" moment that the other characters have. Maybe Gail's just working up to it.

Would perhaps enjoy seeing those two replaced with the following:

Manhunter - As someone already suggested, it would be intriguing to see if Kate's idea of justice matches up with the Six.

Lady Shiva - Someone so deadly, even the Six might have second thoughts about getting on her bad side.

Cheshire - SOOO many things could go wrong.

Merlyn - A fastidious killer who will turn his nose up at the rest of the Six.

Bronze Tiger - Dunno if he kills anymore, but he's cool.

I DO NOT want to see Deathstroke anywhere near this team, however.
