Looks like they're being folded into DC's online publishing format and the submissions/competition is over.

Submissions ended just when I'd finally potentially found an artist who might conceivably work with me. More people need to be good at art and have low enough standards to want to work with me, in my opinion.
Sad news, though, certainly. It was generally an interesting competition.

Minx...CMX...Zuda... it kinda looks like DC is bailing out on everything except the tried 'n true superheroes. If I were Karen Berger, I'd be polishing up my resume.

They are keeping their existing Zuda titles now but folding them under the DC banner.

Given her trade sales, I don't think she's in any real trouble at all.

DC sounds to be opening up submissions for their digital iniative, which is where some ongoing Zuda titles look to be heading [though not all]. I wonder if any future collections of Bayou and Co. will use Zuda branding or DC imprints?
Guess it lived as long as thier Humanoids imprint, and Minx. CMX had a lot more steam [6 years of releases, and a very large catalogue of completed series], so it was too bad to see that go. Seeing Zuda tank right after it is a bit unsettling though.
Still, I guess it leaves more room for other publishers to diversity if DC is uninterested in non-superhero/company owned franchises [I'm guessing Vertigo might be okay since some of their titles aren't creator-owned, though they're making Swamp Thing a mainline book now :( Hopefully things'll be rosier for it and Wildstorm since they're both longrunning imprints with a large backlist and more company support then CMX had (which seemed like DC's ugly stepsister they never wanted to promote, but still managed to sell books for 6 years).
