do you think the second coming storyline (the later half) has parallels with the Israel and Egypt blockade of Gaza situation? If so do you think the writers purposely setted up this part of the plot to have connections to the blockade issue?

I just watched the hour raw footage of the gaza strip line incident that happen about a month and half ago; and suddenly the question popped up in my head.

Who is who in this little scenario? Because last I checked, Israel wasn't a barren asteroid sunken in the ocean when the Ashkenazi's took residence, so...?

More importantly, how does Wakanda factor into all of this?

Wouldn't she be Hitler if Hitler was Jewish...

He-who-must-never-be-named is not that talented a writer nor is the Gaza situation a 'hip' socio/political occurence that would warrant such recognition by said writer.

Heh... what?

The Jews got Israel after the Holocaust, because of the need for a Jewish state. The Third Reich decimated the Jewish population and Wanda did the same with Mutants (but Wanda is also a Mutant so in the analogy Hitler would have to be Jewish). Utopia acts as a strong hold for mutant protection. So wouldn't Wanda be Hitler in the equation? However Heydrich was the mastermind behind the "Final Solution," so maybe Wanda should be Heydrich...

*shrugs* I guess I need to clarify what I mean by similarities....

Okay first off: What I mean in the paralles of the second coming storyline and the isreal blockade of the gazastrip are not literal but metaphorical.

Also, Asteroid M or the X-men, in no way, represents Isreal. Instead Bastion and the sentinals would represent Isreal while the X-men and utopia represent the gazastrip and it's people as well as the humantarians who fight for them.

First, let's clarify what a blockade is for all the people who haven't heard that term before, a blockade is basically a siege on a higher scale. See the blockade is directed into an entire region or country.

With that said, the gazastrip is an entire region and utopia is as well since its an entire region of mutants. Isreal decided to do their blockade of Isreal in 2007 because they felt the people of the Gazastrip are a threat to the world since it's run by the islamic revolutionary movement aka hamas. Bastion decides to do a blockade on Utopia; yes, it's a blockade because he putted a sphere around the asteroid in order to isolate the mutants from recieving help. The purpose for blockades are to isolate your enemies from recieving any further type of help or resources until the enemy is no longer a threat. For Bastion's case this would be untill the Mutants are anihilated while for Isreal it is untill the hamas are no longer in control of government in the gazastrip.

Now do you guys sees similarities here? Are am I still confusing everyone? If I am I'll stop here but I hoped that clarified my ideas.

I'm not asking about Wanda, I'm asking about Wakanda.

Your thoughts are very incorrect. Answer the question. How does Wakanda fit in?
