I'm just wondering who would like to see this happen and from what issue?

For me it would have to kick off from Judd Winicks last issue (and have him write the mini).

Winick did say in an interview (I can't remember where) that he still had alot of plans for the title when he left.

Judd Winick is the only answer to the "who?" question.

Is Winnick a DC exclusive?

If not I would love to his his Exiles forever. The best part about an Exiles Forever series is that it can be in continuity and not mess anything up. It would be great.

I really hate the idea of the Forever series', so it's a no from me. If Winnick still wants to write the series then he can pick up where Parker left off. There's no point in throwing aside all the stories that came after Winnick's run..

It does not need a forever, just an exiles title. The one published a little while ago was quite good, if sadly short.

Ok . . . but unlike with the other Forevers, the runs that came after Winnick's were really bad, and the way Exiles is set up, it would be entirely possible to get rid of them without any issues. The whole premise of the series could ne them trying to figure out why the old continuity has been changed.

Did you read the Parker one? I did not think that one was bad at all...

Sorry, I completely forgot about that one. You're right it was good. I think it's possible to fit it in. I just think that Winnick could easily come back to the title in canon and not have to deal with Bedard's or Claremont's runs at all.

I actually enjoyed Austen's run, and Bedard's was fine by me. Of course neither were as good as Winnick's, but i still enjoyed them. For me, it just seems unnecessarily complicated to try to retcon the series. And as much as i love Mimic and Sunfire, i think it would take away from the series if they started reviving them.

Parker's run allows for as much or as little of Claremont's run [and let's face it, that's the one we all want erased] to be acknowledged as one wants so there's not much point. Exiles is also meant to be the book where change actually happens, making a Forever out of it would be completely beside the point.

The FOREVER series are overrated big time. While some/most of the stories after Winnick's run were just overcooked, I'd rather hate another retcon series! It would likely make a joke of what was once a really great book!

Be it Forever or a continuation of the regular title - only if it is written by Judd Winick. If he's a DC exclusive - Jeff Parker should have it back.

100% Agree with this, however I would've liked to see what Winick had planned with the cast he finished with.

I mean he'd clearly been gearing Mimic to leadership for some time. (Mimic and Blink were pretty much co-leader, with Mimic teaching Blink for the most part).

I would prefer Winnick just writing the book again. Austen, Bedard, and Parker's runs were pretty good IMHO, and I would prefer them not being ignored.
