Bare with me on this, but I've just learned that Little Orphan annie was ending today after the company that owns her canceled her newspaper strips.

How this relates to Mayday, well check out the sunday strip. :frown:

I think I see where you are going with drawing a parrallel that just because SG could not sell enough comics on a monthly basis that maybe there is a life for her on other platforms/venues. Only trouble is that I am not sure she has the following to sustain it; Little Orphan Annie, while hardly a top pop culture figure, has decades more history to draw on----though even that may not be enough.
