spiderman vs daredevil

recent shadowland adds shows spiderman among the heroes who are possibly going to go after Daredevil. got me to wondering.


has spiderman ever fought daredevil in the past? who won, or honestly who do you think would?

This might be more a rumbles board kind of thing.

They've fought a couple times. Usually Spidey is mind controlled during the fights.

Daredevil usually does quite well, though the fights make it clear that Spidey is physically superior at least in terms of strength. I think the usual outcome is either a draw or DD finding a way to incapacitate Spidey (even briefly).

In regards to who SHOULD win... Spidey. Stronger, faster, and more durable. I think Spidey even has better gear.

They're both brilliant character...its a one of those usual things of if it was in a Spidey title then Pete would kick ass and if it was in Daredevil then Matt would win......powerset wise I think Parker would eventually win but Daredevil would get some real dirty fighting in first and would push Spidey's buttons to the extreme before Spidey unleahed a super strong skull crushing punch..............it maybe with the only limb he was left with, but he'd still win IMO.

Spidey, even mindcontrolled, should be knocking Matt's head off his shoulders. I know they've had a few matchups before.

There was one instance where Daredevil (still in his yellow costume) fights Spider-Man who's under the influene of a circus ringmaster. In it Daredevil pretty much runs away and stops the ringmaster and breaks his control of Spider-Man.

Another such mind control confrontation occured in the streets of downtown NY. I don't remember specifics on that one though.

Oh and I know its not the same, but Daredevil did have a confrontation with Venom before (this was when he changed to that ninja costume with the shoulder pads). Daredevil pretty much avoided him and talked him out of fighting since there wasn't much he could do to him.
