These are my top two "Why do people think they're good-looking?" celebs. Julia Roberts isn't pretty at all in my opinion and seems to have a pretty flabby body even though she isn't fat. Her mouth is very big and strange looking.

Speaking of celebs that people say are attractive but aren't makes me think of the "Charlie's Angels" movie(s). That movie was so annoying to me because the 3 females stars were supposed to these 3 "hot" chicks and the movie constantly played them up that way but in reality they were all less than average looking in my opinion. Drew Barrymore was even kinda chubby but played up her breasts to try to make up for it. Lucy Lu has strange looking eyes and bad skin. Cameron Diaz can sometimes look sorta cute but it takes a lot of work to do so.

I don't think Julia Roberts is unattracive, except for Ocean's Eleven (way too much collogen) and Mary Riley, where she was suppossed to look awful. She is a pretty woman, but that's about it. She's not stunning, she's not a head-turner, she's not sexy.
I just don't get how she's suppossed to be one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. She wouldn't even be the most beautiful woman in my hometown.

Jolie's certainly not classically beautiful. Her mouth's too wide, her lips are too big and her face is too flat. What she does have is SEX oozing out of every pore. Pam is like Angelina Jolie and a few others that while they aren't "classic" beauties they have a sex appeal that propels their looks.

I have a Pam calander at work and pretty much every guy from 20 to 50 years old drool over even though in most pictures she's dressed in normal looking clothes. They all know who she is and think she's hot.

Yes, I do. There is almost always something sexy about a tough woman--as long as she doesn’t look like a truck driver or a male body builder. I think that is part of the appeal of Cameron Diaz. Bubblehead or not--I’ve heard it both ways--she is a party animal and could probably drink you under the table. The same factors, more or less, also contribute to the sex appeal of Angelina Jolie and Tara Reid and Paris Hilton. There is something wild and dangerous about them.

As for Acker, by now you have to accept the fact that nobody from the Buffy/Angel universe is going to receive any mainstream recognition. I think it's been readily acknowledged that Alias was perceived to have had a down year. That's why it probably didn't make the cut. I loved the season, but I appear to have been one of the few. As for Amy Acker, I said if she wasn't nominated for the Best Supporting Emmy, the category was invalid. She wasn't and it was.

There's no reason to believe the Golden Globes would've given her a shot, so I didn't even bother to mention it.

From what I've seen. I think the appeal of Jennifer Garner is that she's a "thinking man's" sexy woman. The kind of woman who would appeal to men who are looking for something beyond superficials.

The problem, for me, with this thread is that some celebrities I might have found attractive until of course they turned me off with their bad behaviour. For example I can't see what people find attractive in Angelina Jolie, But I would be a liar if I didn't admit that her skanky/weird behaviour didn't factor into my judgment of her.
