I don`t know if this thread was made already,i looked for it in the search function but could not find one.
So i will just be making this thread about the most recent new Spider-Man title.
The main story is written by Bob Gale and illustrated by Patrick Olliffe.
This story happens before the Gauntlet,so there is still that tension between Peter Parker and Michele,John Jonah Jameson still had the Anti Spider Squad looking for Spider-Man.
First of i want to say that to me this story alone have is quite a improvement over Bob Gale stories in Amazing Spider-Man,this is just a well though story of Spider-Man which is promising to the stories in this title being scripted by Bob Gale.
If you want to read one of the best scenes between Peter Parker and Michele, which actually shows how Michele is a great supporting character this story just have a well done scene with those two.
Plus, this story is set right after J.J.J. got elected as Mayor and using his powers of that to hunt Spider-Man (This happens before a story in Amazing Spider-Man in which J.J.J. had to re-think his Anti Spider Squad and efforts to hunt Spider-Man and live up more to the responsibilities of being a Mayor)
The connections of the politic world to the entertaining world in which J.J.J. had to name a day in Honor of a television celebrity are interesting.
A new villain shows up,with cool powers that actually resonates well in the story visually speaking!
Plus there are new characters created as well.
Just a smart and well thought story imo, which shows great potential to future stories.
Pat Ollife illustrations are solid and much more dynamic that i ever remember from any story illustrated by Pat Ollife.I think this happened because of the panel by panel way this was done first for the Spider-Man digital stories and just looks great in paper as well.
Before moving on to the second story i think is worth to give my thanks to Marvel to this be available in print as well, because i enjoyed reading this story.

Now the second story was illustrated by the acclaimed humorist artist and writer Fred Hembeck.
Man did i miss to see those characters with the little spirals in the legs!
A more cartony story of a younger Peter Parker being babysitting by a member of a famous family of super heroes of Marvel.
And from there the story develops in a cool funny story showing many younger Marvel characters with traces that they will have in more current stories.
The coloring by Javier Rodriguez makes this story even better visually speaking.

Plus there is some great features in the end of the book as well.

What i just read with Peter Parker#1 was a well done story both in story and art with a funny secondary story by a acclaimed creator as well.
Over all have to say that this title made a good impression with me and makes me look forward to read the next issues.

Feel free to say your thoughts about this issue as well.
