Incoming artist on "The Flash," Francis Manapul spoke with CBR News about what it takes to make the Fastest Man Alive move into the future visually, while Geoff Johns teased his mysterious epic "Flashpoint."

Not sure I like Manapul's work too much, but I'll buy it just because Mr. Johns is writing it.

I thought Manapul was the best thing about Flash #1, not that the writing was bad or anything though, just really liked the art :biggrin:.

Francis Manapul is different from what we've ever seen on The Flash, as far as I know.
And by different, I mean, good creative decision. I enjoyed The Flash #1. I'm still immersing myself in his world and mythology, but I am enjoying the ride.
I also like the texting touch. I didn't find it obtrusive or anything.

i LOVE manapul's art. i really think his style goes great with the flash title. really looking forward to more of it.
