It's been a while. I haven't read any comics for well over 7 months now.

And I am completely lost.

What the eff is going on in the MU, and what should I be reading to catch up?

I think you should get Siege. Marvel is going to be starting the Heroic Age after this so this would be good to get. Also it was an Ok story, but you may also want to get Cap Reborn to see how Captain America came back.

Dark Reign has been going on for a while, as I'm sure you know. There was a crossover between X-Men and Dark Avengers called Utopia which resulted in the X-Men living on an island nation, but the story is horrible and I wouldn't recommend reading it.

Steve Rogers has come back to life in Captain America: Reborn, but Bucky is still remaining as Captain America

Iron Man: I don't read it, but from my understanding he lost his memory completely and it has been reset to how it was before Civil War (?)

Siege is the current Avengers event going on, and it marks the end of Dark Reign. It's been entertaining so far imo. It involves Norman Osborn going to war against Asgard. After Siege the Avengers books are all going to relaunch and it's going to start "The Heroic Age" although it looks like more of the same.

In the cosmic world, The Thanos Imperative event is going to start, with the return of Thanos. Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy are going on "hiatus" until it is over.

Will do. Thanks.

And which issue is the one where Cap dies?
