Let's say the Batman Beyond mini is successful. Could there be a possiblity they could make it an ongoing?

If a G'Nort miniseries were successful, DC would rush to launch a G'Nort ongoing. Asking if DC would make an ongoing out of ANY successful mini not titled 'Watchmen' is a self-answered question.

Now, since Adam 'Why do they keep giving him titles' Beechen is writing the mini, I don't think that'll be the case.

Adam Beechen is hated by far to many people. Im buying it, and I'll enjoy it, but Too many people hate Beechen's writing for it to be terribly successful.

It depends. There was a lot of fan demand for this Mini and an onging will pretty much be decided by the sales of the mini. Like overmaster said, Beechen has a bad track record after his work with Batgirl though, so it's an uphill battle. I'll give it a shot and buy the first or second issue at least, but I'm not going to buy a mini I don't like in hopes that it will get an ongoing.

Beechen did have a pretty solid run on robin though, so we will see.

I'm hoping for the best.

Let's hope enough people like the character that it can overcome the hatred of Beechen's writing. Doubt it though.

Though I did like the Blue Beetle issue of B&B he did.

I hope the mini will be succesful enough for another mini, at least

The character will pull in the readers but the writer, not so much.

there already a lot of batman titles out there, but i'm looking forward to the beyond mini and would give also an ongoing a chance if it's any good.

Interestingly enough, I would buy a G'Nort miniseries before I would buy a Batman Beyond miniseries.

But, yeah, anything is possible.

Batman Beyond has a mini? When did this come out?

I guess it depends on the fan reaction/demand. Personally what I like about BB was Terry's interaction with others. I just can't see them getting the same 'flavour' on paper.

Sure, but it depends on the success of the mini.

If we do get a BB ongoing, give it to Paul Dini

I voted "I don't see it happening."

Given the nature of the economy, and the use of the direct market, I really don't see a Beyond ongoing happening.

The mini will do alright, but it won't sell amazingly though.

Plus with what has happened at Marvel lately with Captain Britain, Doctor Voodoo, and SWORD... I would like to think that DC has learned to use minis then go to ongoings.

Given that assumption I don't see an ongoing coming out from the mini.

Of course at this point we know little to nothing about the mini, it could sell really well, and then we would get an ongoing... but at this point I don't see it happening.

Disclaimer: Even though I would love it!
