I don't think it was. And I don't know what at DC is sleeping at the wheel and not realizing that a new manga-ish series based on this would sell like hotcakes.

I've never seen a reprint available for this series. I'd buy it if DC published one though.

well from what i heard, it was dematteis's writing that was the high point so if he wrote a manga ish updated version, id buy it

I also like Andrew Bennet's appearance with Batman in Brave and the Bold.

"Dr. Thirteen: Architecture and Mortality" by Brian Azzarello and Cliff Chiang. Originally a backup feature in the Tales of the Unexpected mini, it's now available on its own as a trade paperback. www.InStockTrades.com offers a large discount, even if they do call it "Architecture and Morality." :tongue:

I believe this's not been reprinted--but what a good idea! once again, despite having all, or certainly most of the I, Vampire HoM series, I'd get a collected trade--! Hello? Anyone at DC noticing?

I had zero interest in the character when I was a kid, but positive word of mouth over the years has me really interested.

Kinda the same way I feel about the Creature Commandoes.

It was a War comic featuring a platoon of soldiers turned monsters.

It was a fiarly fun read. I always hoped that the platoon would eventually get sick of Shrieve and do something to him.

There was a Buffy the Vampire Slayer-type monthly series from DC a bunch of years back called Scarlett, that I enjoyed very much, by Tom Joyner. Won't ever be collected, but I wonder if it wouldn't do well in today's vampire-crazed market.

Anyone else read this one?
