Mostly out of curiosity because I love Ted Naifeh's work I picked up a trade of Gloomcookie last year.

I really enjoyed it, and not just because of the art. I mean, the quality of the art fluctuated very much depending on the artist.
But that really playful goth story was really cute and I liked all the characters.

Now I am at the end of the series and I am sad because it feels right at the middle. No real conclusion.
AFAI it was just planned that the floppy format would be discontinued in favour of graphic novels, but it seems to me that the series has been completely abandoned.

Does anybody have information if there is hope for more Gloomcookie?

I took this from Serena's Facebook..

Serena is currently writing a horror screenplay with writer/director Phil Flores (of the Butcher Brothers), she is also writing three new comic series/graphic novels: Enchanted, Blackbird the Pirate Queen and Hells Café and has written a novel for young adults for Disney Press based on the Wicked Queen from Snow White entitled Fairest of All that is now available in all major bookstores.

But the fact she's still working on comics means there is always hope something will happen with Gloomcookie.
