they should be called the "New York Avengers" cause with Spidey and Luke Cage on the squad they will definitely have to be based in NYC more so Spidey. Of course the book wouldn't sell well with NY in the title.

Actually I really LOVE this idea! It's relevant to the comic AND plays off nicely against the "New" Avengers title/team (since it's going to pretty much be the same team).

Simply "Avengers". The Cap/Thor/Iron Man book should be "Mighty Avengers" since their book has almost always carried the prefix "The Earth's Mightiest Heroes".
