I'll add in, and say his relationship's ending with Laurie was heartbreaking. One of the more tear jerking things I've read in my day.

Sadly, no. :frown:

I had to hunt around for that image(For the banner). His images to use are hard to come of. I can always make some more, if there is something you want, though. :) And if I can find what is needed.

Yes, but then he actually got powers, and it changed him. For the better, IMO. I can't see him taking another path like that one.

I'm not saying Josh won't turn evil; I'm just saying my thoughts on that idea.

I've been considering the thought of Julian turning sides, and am coming around to the idea. Though, I don't think Julian would stay evil. I feel he isn't a bad person, just still finding his way in the world.

See, right now, Josh is the "good" guy. Wither is the "bad guy"

Their powers, almost seem set up for it to be that way. Elixir heals, Wither kills.

For some reason (actually I think I'd like this as an alt reality more) but having Elixir as some creepy, messiah who never lets anyone around him die, even if they want to. (Like he uses it as a way of controlling and subjugating people, as in they can't even escape him though death)

So like a cult figure. He'd be all smiles, and order, and life, but also control. Plus given his mutant class. He could be scary powerful in the future.

I see him walking around in long and flowing white robes LOL

I so need to make a fan fic page as to not inflict this nonsense on other people. :biggrin:

LOL, now imagine that, with longer robes, he has longer golden hair and has a creepy smile, and has Loa locked up in his dungeon of spiritual healing. :eek:

Plus at nights, he forces really old people, who are like.... 120 to live longer and longer. :confused:


I agree troyfin2. Thats why I loved Exiles. We could have seen a reality where Elixir was evil and creepy. :biggrin:

I'm pretty sure each artist just draws him a bit differently. For example, in the beginning of X-Force, Josh's skin wasn't golden(Unless he was using his abilities.).

I've noticed features in his face changing drastically when another artist comes on board as well. Some draw his face rounded, while others have it pretty narrow. Also, I think I noticed his nose changing too: Like it's super slim sometimes, and very stuck out in other.

I'm always happy with how Josh is portrayed, even if they differ at times.

I think he's showing up in Wolverine later this summer. Might be a flashback (not sure) but he's mentioned in the July solicits.

Yeah. I think there was mention of the JGS. But he looked so little. And Wolverine's supposed to be 5'4.

I loved when he became apart of X-Force in vol 3, it really reminded me of Armor's (Hisko Ichiki) introduction into the fold (though hers, was not as violent) in Astonishing X-Men, which also involved Wolverine in a mentor position. I guess what I liked most was the fact that this kid with these extreme powers (Omega-level) was thrown in to a situation he wanted nothing to do with, a killing squad of sorts, with a kid member that could actually kill his whole team if he wanted, but was more scared of them and in dislike of what they were doing (killing people) but to me that's what really made it so interesting, I'd love for Wolverine to call in a favor, and it be from Elixir, even if it was just a role at the JGS, at this point I'll take any appearance over his curent limbo (still on Necrosha) status....

ps....if my avatar didnt give it away,I love kid characters, Miles, Franklin, Damian, Armor, Kid Loki, Young Avengers, Kid Apocalpse, Elixir, etc etc...

I did not care for Elixer during New Mutants, Academy and New X-Men. But I really liked him a lot in X-Force and during Necrosha. I think it's weird that they put him in limbo for so long. Perhaps because he knew thing concerning Hope, which would be in the way if he's still around.

I hope that's the case, because then he can return after AvX.
