where do you keep your clothes?
if you're not married, engaged, etc., what do women you bring over think?

HA! Actually, I moved into a 2500 sq ft 100-year-old victorian, not an apt. My girlfriend lives with me too. The comic room is actually the attic, so there's plenty of room for clothes in the bedroom! :)
However... when I was more single believe it or not chicks dug it. I'd kinda prep them for what was going on, and then when they saw it they were kinda impressed. Besides, if a girl actually gets back to your apt, the battle's already 1/2 over.
This is what it USED to look like:

So I'm looking at these pictures of this new in-stock trade, comic book figure/bust store, and I'm looking for the link when I realize...

I should post my collection sometime. I think of it as big, but it's dwarfed by pmpknface's.

HA! Yeah, I took these pics right after I put away a few hundred books. Before that, the cubes were al over the place and there were boxes everywhere. We have a cat, and she LOVES to go up there and play on the rugs, so I was dying to vacuum that rug for WEEKS!
Thanks TwinPistols! There are actually a few things that I'd like to sell, I'm just pretty lazy about doing it.
Dan - I'd love to see pics of your collection. Heck, I'd love to see pics of anyone's collection no matter how big or small. It's fun!

Here are my much less impressive pics (sorry about the picture quality):
The first two (the one that's too dark and the one with white shelves) are my main collection that lives in my dining room.
The next one is my bedside table with a big pile of books I haven't yet read.
The final one is has books I plan on selling (because my wife won't let me have more space) piled up on the top and on the bottom right shelf. The rest of the books in that pic are more that I haven't read yet - and probably won't read as soon as most of the books on my bedside table.
I really should stop buying more than I have time to read...
(I also have about a dozen longboxes in my loft with the singles)

Very cool! My girlfriend would one day like to put where I have those 2 tall shelves BUILT-INS from the floor to the ceiling. Then I'd have a tone more room, like you've got. I'm totally running out of room to store tpb's. The small gray/blue shelf is mostly for HC's and oversized stuff. Plus I put things like all Alan Moore togather.
I may have to make that built in sooner than later...

Those tall white shelves are Billy from Ikea with the optional extender added to the top to give them an extra level.
They are great, but you're best off getting the 60cm wide ones rather than the 80cm ones. The Shelves on my 80cm ones can't really cope with the weight of TPBs and have had to be reinforced.

Thanks Dan. They are good shelves. I may keep them in mind for my next Ikea trip...

I love those meatballs. Still have some in the freezer (along with gravy saches in the cupboad and lingonberry jam in the fridge)

Anybody who lives within walking/biking/bus or train riding/driving distance of an IKEA is bound to have one (or all) of those items in your house, no?

... until you run out of meaballs! OH NO!!!!!!!!!
The GF has been eying drapes lately... I may be able to replenish my meatball supply soon! And I'm totally trying that lindenberry jam this time. Mixing the berry soda with the lemon / lime stuff in the cafe is good too.
