If you actually have to wonder then no, probably not just yet.

Congrats, Brandon and Nicole! Not the classic "met-at-CBR couple" (because you didn't, really), but I call "close enough".

Best regards indeed.

And, for those of us who weren't here, would you consider retelling this...

Back in early 2000's, Nicole and I both came here to CBR as Promethea and Plan9. I used to do a diary comic called The Little Things (http://www.thegeekout.com/comics/tlt/tlthtm/index.htm). Nicole would act as my editor by making sure I spelled stuff correctly. I would also do little mini comics of the strips.

In 2003, both of went to SDCC. During the con, there were a bunch of CBR meet-ups. One being a beach meeting/weenie roast.

During a moment away from the group, I faked that I noticed a mistake Nicole didn't catch in one of my comics.

What I had done was secretly work on a comic and pasted into one of my mini comics.

I then got down on one knee and asked her myself.

The part that he's leaving out is that all the rest of us saw was the two of them going off down the beach and then coming back a few minutes later with Nicole weeping.

We were all horrified. What could be wrong? They had seemed so great together...

Fortunately, it all got sorted out quickly and the party went on.

Congratulations, you two!
