I bought Pink Floyd in Concert: PULSE today.
I'm a little disappointed with the packaging. It comes in a digipak without a cover so I've gotta be pretty careful with the handling. That aside, it's supposed to be pretty awesome.
It's a two DVD set. The first DVD contains a full concert(1994 Earls Court, London) with other extras. The second DVD contains the first filmed performance of Dark Side of the Moon. Plus more from what I can tell.

Oh really? I thought it was just the live performance of it that's on the CD... which while cool, isn't that great because Waters isn't there for it.
If it doees infact have a recording from the 70's, then I need to get this.

According to Amazon.com it's the same performance from the 90's that's on the CD. None of the 70's shows were ever filmed (can't confirm that)...?
SO, yeah, not a 70's performance of Dark Side of the Moon.

Yeah, I should have stated. The first recorded performance of Dark Side of the Moon was in 94. :) It's still pretty fantastic though.
If you're looking for an early live recording of the band in action, I also bought "Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii", which was filmed in 1972. There's no audience but you do see them perform in an empty amphitheatre in Pompeii. It mixes pretty images, the live performance, and studio footage. I purchased the directors cut which isn't all that great. Luckily, the original version of the film is included in the special features so you can skip right to it. It mostly has songs from the Meddle era but if you're a Dark Side of the Moon fan, the directors cut contains extra interview footage of when they were recording the album.

Yeah, the Pompeii disc is nice. ALso the VH1 "Classic Records" series has one on Dark Side, and it's really cool. A lot of stuff of them recording it... very cool.

I haven't been buying many dvds lately, but I couldn't resist The Champions set when I saw it on the shelf in a bookstore I didn't even know sold dvds.
This was an old series I remember liking as a kid in the late 60s. Sort of a spy/thriller thing. These three secret agents nearly get killed when their plane crashes in the Himalayas, but they're kept alive by an old monk who also trains them in his esoteric techniques of something or other so they have heightened abilites. The female member, Alexandra Bastedo, was absolutely gorgeous - and according to wiki also spoke several languages and worked in real life as a translator for the UN.

I just bought two DVDs that I've wanted for ages.
One is David Mamet's "The Spanish Prisoner." For whatever reason, they let the DVD fall out of print years ago, so copies were kinda pricey. Then last week I discovered that the DVD (the same 1998 release) is suddenly available again. The best guess I've seen on this is that someone at Sony found a box of unsold copies in storage. Either way, I grabbed my copy quick.
The other is "Ollie Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss." It's the TV-movie sequel to a much better-known movie, "A Christmas Story." Jerry O'Connell plays Ralphie. My family loved this growing up. I actually bought a bootleg edition off ioffer.com, since the movie's never been released on DVD, and the VHS edition is long since out-of-print (and consequently, expensive on the used market).
So two holy grails down.
