As such, let us recognize and appreciate black mutants and their contributions to the X-Men. Who is your favorite black mutant? Which black mutant would you like to see get an expanded role?

Make sure you speak up for your favorite black character as this is the only opportunity you'll have this year to guilt white people into pretending they care.

Also, the following mutants are disqualified as black, so don't even bring them up: Sunspot, Michael Jackson, Gambit, Black Tom, Bryant Gumbel, Black Queen, Black Box, Al Roker, Elixir, and Tiger Woods.

I'd like to give some attention to Sunspot, just to go against BB's unfair disqualification.

Specifically, I'd like to remember the discrimination he was confronted with by players on an opposing soccer team, and how it led to the manifestation of his mutant power to become even more black.

The only black character I've never really cared for is Bishop. He never did anything for me. I barely knew about him back when but I thought he was a black Cable, and Cable is dull as rocks to me. Sorry Cable fans.

Um... ya. Though she barely exists, I really enjoy Cipher. Her concept was lots of fun and I hope someone uses her. Fun powerset.

I was really into Storm for a while. I loved using her in the pryde of the x-men arcade game back when.

Synch was cool too. I dug his rainbow aura. Gay friendly. Polite. Nice kid.
