SUCH AN UNDERRATED GEM!!

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/2/29010/806685-00_large.jpg (http://www.comicvine.com/00/105-806685/)

Jesse's brother killed their parents and as a result he was shuffled from multiple foster homes. When he was younger he began to see a psychiatrist, when his mutant abilities began to manifest. The doctor tried to manipulate him and he was rescued by M.U.S.E.(Mutant Underground Supprt Engine) He is skilled in covert ops, info gathering, and a great martial artist.

Jesse Aaronson met along with X-Force on a search for his brother. Eventually joining the team and going on buttloads of missions, he was apparently killed by the Church of Humanity(Chuck Austen: HISS) His death was never confirmed on panel, however, and there was no body.

He needs a revival(cause he ain't dead!) Wouldn't he be great for membership in a revived Crew or get his secret agent on in Thunderbolts. He is wonderful!

Funny you say that because I think his brother got depowered. Very powerful mutants that could shake up the X-Verse if given the chance.

I know of this character due to the Appreciation thread over at the X-forum and he seems like an awesome guy. I've yet to actually come across him in any books and he seems to have a really cool visual.

The only thing I hated about that look was the X's shaved into his head. You go deep undercover and want the world to think you're dead but you shave two white x's in your head, plus it was ugly. Not his smartest move.

And this is probably one of my favorite moments by him

I was not fond of how they de-specialized his ability from electronics and he began to mimic his brother's organic mental jumble power. While pseudo-scientifically plausible, it made him too powerful and less unique from his brother.

I wouldn't mind seeing more of the Brothers Bedlam or any of the other New Hellions for that matter.

He can look dead all he like! Jubilee looked dead too but that chick still got up! They never specified whether or not he actually dies or survived due to Angel's healing blood. There is the wiggle room. If a writer really wanted to use him I'm sure they could. I do not appreciate you all trying to crush my hopes.

I loved that he could affect electronics and brains. Plus his brother is depowered now so it's all good.

Not trying to crush your hopes, just don't want to see anybody looking for the character to pop up anytime soon when he most likely isn't....though he COULD possibly still show up in Necrosha so you never know...Lord knows I'm hoping Synch gets to stick around, the Gen X kids deserve a least ONE win.

Maybe he survived but he is deep undercover working with M.U.S.E., which now focus on depowered mutants (who are having a rough time). I did not like Bedlam at first, but he proved to be a nice guy.

Why was this moved? Why couldn't it stay in the Marvel section? It seem people who don't frequent the X-forum were at least being introduced to him.

Marvel should have elevated him to top-tier X-man and killed Bishop. If the X-men need a token black guy, Bedlam should be it. At least he's interested beyond being black and from the future.

In a way, he was black and from an alternate timeline .

So. . . Bedlam appeared in AoA first. AoA was a hoot. He should be more popular.

Yes, the Bedlam brothers were under Sinister command on AoA, but they came across a pretty sympathetic (unlike Havock or the Guthries) and turned to the side of good(ish) in the end.

Yep, I think so, but I do not remember the specifics. Sinister was pretty obsesed with siblings in AoA. Mmm. Weird thing being, if the AoA were to happen today, Vulcan would have been there as well. I had never though about that.

I think they took it for an appreciation thread (I thought that as well at first). Maybe you can trying again with just "Black History Appreciation thread" and posting the profiles overtime.

(It is me or race is a bigger issue lately accross the boards? Has something happended in the States I am not aware of)

LOL I was just following the trend in the MU forum. Since it's Black History Month they are having a "Black History Appreciation" with various threads to focus on lesser known black characters. That's why I put this one over there and it was moved.

I already created his appreciation thread for the X-forums. It's in the first post!

I could've sworn I had posts in this thread...

Anywho, I enjoyed Bedlam under Moore and Cheung the most. I'm glad he was one of the few AoA characters who had a somewhat successful 616 counterpart. It's too bad King Bedlam is depowered, a reunion between the two taking place in the current X-books would be interesting to read. Would Bedlam be villain like his brother for being forgotten about, or still a hero?

lol this one isn't the appreciation thread. It's the one that was kickbanned from the Marvel forum during Black History Month years ago. HISS!
