Bernet has always been one of my main draws to the book. I absolutely love his style. It's so sharp, but it still captures the grit and dirt of the world that Jonah inhabits.

I've no doubt that this will be another kick-ass issue because, let’s face it, every issue of this series is basically fantastic. However, I have to say that I find Jordi Bernet's artwork to be just...alright. Actually, I have a bit of an ongoing problem with the art in this series, I think it's often a pretty bad fit for Jonah Hex - Darwyn Cooke I'm looking at you!

Mind you, I'd rather see Bernet drawing Hex than Cooke but my favourite artist on this series is David Michael Beck. Other artists that I feel have done some good work on this series are Luke Ross and Rafael Garres.

Agree. Luke Ross did a great job on Jonah Hex but I really hope he dont leave Captain America anytime soon.

Oh man, finally Bernet is back...more Bernet plz...
I don't mind Darwyn Cooke (for example Hunter book he did), but it just doesn't go well with Jonah Hex as he draws kind of too-I don't want to upset someone- 'girly style' art or whatever that style is called...He did issue #33 Ok but issue #50 was pretty bad..

Hopefully we see more issues by Bernet...

and to add, that i do not like realistically ilustrated comics (eg, Luke Ross, Alex Ross etc)..I mean whats the point?! You might as well take photos and paste em on the board...it just has no talent or feeling to it...comics have to have 'life' and movement,,, not staticky...just my opinion anyway...

The issues drawn by Bernet and Cooke are among my favourites. To each their own. The variety of talented artists is one of the great things about the series. You can pick up an issue with an artist you like and usually get a complete story told in one issue. You don't have to read dozens of issues to understand what's going on.

I didnt see this preview so when i got the issue from LCS i was so pleasently surprised. Bernet is one of fav artist. His look for Hex is by the far the best i have seen.

Really i have enjoyed all the artist but if it was Bernet every month it would be perfect.

For you Bernet fans dont miss the translation of his famous Torpedo series by IDW.

I ordered my copy :)
