I know he was an android but other then his flame powers he was looked and seemed pretty human. even had blood, did they ever take him a part?

No, he's never been taken apart that I can recall. But since the Vision was built from the same body (a paradox brought about by the machinations of Immortus).
He's a synthetic human and was raised, more or less, by a human so that's why he looks and acts human. His body functions very much like a human's because of this. Ultron used the Torch's body to create the Vision, which could explain why the Vision's body seems more mechanical.

Invaders #9 ends with the torch again meeting his end,for the 3rd or 4th time.First he was changed into the vision, then Byrne did away with that. He may as well have stayed as the vision. Wait, the visions gone to! Oh well...

I could have sworn in one of the old West Coast Avengers issues there was a heart wrenching scene where the Vision was completely disasembled and neatly laid out over the better part of a warehouse. This was in 93/94 when I read it so I could be wrong.
