No. They went on a date, and realized that they didn't have much in common.

Yeah, I remember hearing it didn't really go well. Which was sad, because that would have made for some interesting stories.

At the end of Ms. Marvel #47, they seemed to leave the door open for the relationship to be followed up on if they ever choose to do so, though when I asked Brevoort if there was any chance of future stories exploring that possibility, he said no.

Yeah I thought they definitely left that door open for future development (with a haggard, beat up looking Ms Marvel. Jeez that third artist was awful), disappointed to hear it won't be happening. I was hoping Spidey would at least get to tap that. Seriously though, I thought it could have led to some interesting if not comedic subplots in NA if the two of them tried to keep it on the down low. Spidey making his usual little innuendo filled quips but this time they are 'in' jokes between the two of them. Possibly teasing some jealously from Ms Marvel towards Jessica's old crush on Pete but not being able to do anything about it. Also when they all got knocked loopy by the depowering gadget in NA Carol was still out cold during their getaway and Spidey was the one who went to get her and carried her to the ship. Coincidence? Probably but I can hope

say WHAT again ? dont bring you MJ bias into conclusion, they found they had more in common then initially though, is just that peter is a girly when confronted with hot babes, all the girls he date made the advance towards him,the only one i think peter actually made a move was betty brant, but you can call that on the arrogance of the young or overconfidence that being spider-man gave him.
Besides that is was just a fun story left open if anyone want to back there again, and we all knew nothing would come out of it..

Glad i wasnt the only one who noticed the coincidence, i'm hoping to them exploring it too, even if not romantically, but as a friendship.
who is brevoort in marvel to have say in spider-man ?

I prefer Ms Marvel with MODOK. Anyone doubt me, see Superhero Squad! Seriously they had a fling!

They did have a short date in Ms Marvel 47. i wrote a review on the issue here.

There was no mention of their relationship afterward though.

There's a joke about MODOK's huge head in there somewhere.
I enjoyed the Ms. Marvel issue even if it was clear as day that it was pretty much a throwaway story. I could maybe see Bendis referencing it in New Avengers, but beyond that we probably won't hear about it again.

It could be a interesting development, but imo Black Cat looks to be a better romantic interest to Spider-Man that Ms Marvel.
