This is intended for Mature Audiences only!!! You have to sign up but really worth it

It is a cartoon. In the way of the 1960's Marvel Cartoons but better executed and way better art

Spider-woman has her cartoon on that site as well. Very nicely down

I'm sorry, but this does absolutely nothing for me.

Not that I was a huge fan of ASTONISHING X-MEN in comic form, but this takes away even those limited charms. The dialog sounds terrible and really false when performed. The flashbacks to the Claremont era were brutal. Stuff like the Wolverine-Cyclops fight scene that seemed clever in the comic seems dumb here. Comic story-telling is so much more compressed that transitions are jarring and the lack of motivation really shows.

The animation is kind of creepy. The movements are really unnatural and unattractive. It is just brutal all the way around.

I admire the effort, but really what this tells is that comics and animation are different media. What works in one does not necessarily work in the other.

To be fair, the SPIDER-WOMAN one is better.

Bendis has a more decompressed style. The scenes play out longer, which is a good thing. Maleev's style appears better suited to the motion comic than Cassiday's. I am not sure. The director is smart enough to use montage a bit more and not show the figures walking much. That seems like a better approach than the one attempted in ASTONISHING X-MEN.

It's kind of interesting from a technical standpoint. And if it gets more people interested in looking at comics, then swell. But I can't see it as anything more than a gimmick. But then, I think most of the shows on Cartoon Network are horribly-animated one-joke gimmicks, and people watch those, so what do I know?

I'm with you there. There is not one show, that I can think of, on the Cartoon Network that appeals to me. And I love cartoons.

Venture Brothers is great. Robot Chicken can be pretty funny. Aside from that, it's pretty slim pickings.

I agree with what some of you are saying.

I think the reason why I like these is because when Marvel started with the cartoons like The Hulk and Thor there wasn't any real animation going on there. It was almost like looking at a comic. So I don't mind Motion Comics. The art to me looks better than what the art we got in Teen Titans cartoon (Which they looked more like 9 year olds) and even the Justice League. They left me wanting.

I do like the animation of the Public Enemies movie and Green Lantern and Wonder Woman though.

Robot Chicken is cool
