Its time to give praise to our mutant messiah hope summers.

Born during the messiah complex and travelling through time with cable our little girl has been through so much in her short life. And with the approaching story of second coming it appears that hope will finally return to the present and fulfill her duties to mutantkind.

I agree, it's like replacing a VCR with a Blu-ray player. Old and inefficient hardware must give way to newer and better technologies. As far as I can tell, it's a hell of an upgrade.

It was actually revealed in cable 21 that she has tp and tk. Her tp sames quite weak but her tk is on psylockes levels.

Theses a scene in Cable #21 we're Hope tells cable that she can feel bishop, and cable just stares at Hope and Hope just thinking to her self says "the way he stares at me it, it breaks my heart" Just was such a beautiful scene. Indeed. I thought it was really interesting of Cable to essentially tell her nothing of any of the X-men, in order for her to form her own opinions, and even more interesting is that the writers have continued it as well as they have.

Really, just about any question you can ask, no one will know the answer to it. We haven't got the how and whys about Hope just yet. Her story's gotta drag out for a couple more years because, honestly, three crossovers isn't really enough time to explain much of anything.

Well, her mother was a random firefighter in Cooperstown, Alaska, by the name of Louise Spalding. The father is, as of this time, unknown.

However, what I reccomend, as a fan of the character, is to read "Messiah Complex", to get a basic idea of why she is so important, and a general feel for the mutant world at the time, then follow that up with the Cable series, which while a 'love it or hate it' book, had great character development for Hope.

Or, simply read the one-shot which collected a few back-ups starring Hope.

I imagine that knowledge of her purpose plus the power that comes with it causes her to lose it and start the Six-Minute War. I'm sure I'm not the only one to come to this conclusion but I wanted to put it out there and state how much I hate it. It would be ooc and hypocritical for Jean to be a body-snatching energy being, but I think that's what's going on.

I think it fits perfectly. The thing to think about though is, what is Jean's thinking on this if it turns out to be true? I kinda think the hypocrisy of doing what the Force did to her to someone else would make for an interesting story, even though it would make Jean a bit of an anti-hero.
