but that would mean every arc had to start with Ollie saying something about being a little brave and bold
after all those are the magic words that make Batman smile and go on adventures with Ollie

If you mean team-ups every month....than NO! I love both characters, but around Issue #3, Batman would send GA off the ledge of the Batcave for making the statement that his old Arrow car could out-accelerate the Batmobile.......plus Robin would hit on Speedy the whole time.

If you mean a 1/2 and 1/2 book...than MAYBE. It is no secret that GA has been struggling in sales, and if the new direction in 2010 doesn't work, maybe this would.

If you mean a monthly title where the two ended up constantly going after the same Rogues, and bumping into/getting in each other's way all the time but not actually teaming up.....than YES!! The comedy aspect of them getting on each other's nerves while racing to see the crime scene before the other would be entertaining. Although technically a team-up, it wouldn't be like GA has the Batcave security codes....

You seriusly don't know your Speedy and Robin..

Damian still thinks girls a icky, and Tim ... well.. he never hits on anyone, they hit on him!

Also Mia would probably just kick damian in the balls..

No, I hate Oliver Queen. I'm not fond of any other comic book archers either.

What made you hate him?

i think i'll alienate myself and say no, i don't like batman. the guy has something permanently wedged up his ass, and it's cemented in there pretty well. batman and hawkman coming out of the closet and having a book together makes infinitely more sense, and if they went that direction, i would definitely read the book for the lulz.

Are you stuck in the 90's? Bruce isn't a jerk anymore. And your gay jokes aren't funny.

yes, bruce is a jerk and a generally unpleasant individual to be around in just about every (including recent) appearance i've seen him in.

and that wasn't a joke, that book makes more sense than olly and bruce, who are complete polar opposites.

Ollie and Bruce have teamed up over and over again through the decades. They aren't polar opposites at all. Bruce isn't a jerk, read the Batman title to actually get a handle on the character. People that write him in other books are responsible for keeping Bat-jerk. He isn't actually like that at all.

^ that's probably why, i don't read a lot of batman titles. however, he was batdick in gl, gl corps, infinite crisis, and to a lesser extent in the brave and the bold just off the top of my head. even in his own title from what little i've seen, he seems like a crotchety old man incapable of smiling or laughter. if it came down to it, i'd probably rather hang out with alfred.

Geoff Johns has a very poor handle on Batman.

so i'm told. frank miller's interpretation doesn't really help matters, either...

The problem is that subsequent writers followed the grim and gritty formula, making it progressively worse.
