Oprah was in SUCH a hurry to end her show, she dropped a letter early!

You know, I guess she's rich enough she doesn't HAVE to work anymore.

Then again from that article she's NOT ending her show. She's simply moving it to its own cable channel. "Oprah TV, all Oprah, all the time!"

You guys didn't read the attached article, I'm guessing and are just going by the thread title and one sentence description, I guess... Oprah isn't going anywhere, she's just going to charge you for her "immense wisdom" from 2011 onwards...

Key phrase "syndicated talk show". She is contracted until end of 2011 which is why that date was chosen. My understanding is she is in the planning stages of creating "The Oprah Network" (name not final but likely) for cable. I am betting its flagship program will be a show or two that she hosts.

I don't see why people are making a big deal of this on the media as its two years away. Then again I live near Chicago so maybe only the local media is making a big deal and everyone realizes that fall of 2011 is a long time away.
