My brother's adoption case just got easier. The birth mother's boyfriend threatened to kill a case worker involved if she testified.
Did he think he was helping, or does he really, really not want to be around kids?

These two idiots have tossed everything they could find on the wall and have yet to find anything that sticks. It should say something that the father is trying separately to regain custody.

I didn;t realize there were so many cutscenes in the metal Gear Solid series!
Either that, or they're just long.
(ownloaded them and am converting them so I can put them on my ipod)
Oh yeah, there are.
Serious question: is whisky ruined after spending several months in the back of a car, though buried under other crap so it was never in direct sunlight?
As my roommate says, it's alcohol. It never goes bad, it just might not taste as good.
What about Terminator: Salvation?
Um, a prequel to T3.
Times of the collected cutscenes.
Twin Snakes - 2:44
Sons of Liberty - 3:36
Snake Eater - 4:14
Guns of the Patriots - 9:40

Wow for the last one. Just... wow.
I know, I could have sworn it was at least 15 hours. I do know there is one that's close to an hour.
Nooo.....
It was her idea!
As a soon to be married man you need to learn the rules.
1) Everything wrong is your fault and you should be punished for it.
2)Everything right is always her idea.
Plus, you're not my type.
*cough*male*cough*
Oh come one, it's not that bad once you get used to it!
I will say this, Diet Dr. Pepper really does taste more like regular Dr. Pepper!
More like regular Dr. Pepper than what?
That's why I hate those commercials. Of course it tastes more like, if it's more like Dr. Pepper than urine, water, milk, Mountain Dew, whiskey, tequila, pizza, etc.
Morning Bo Bo.
Anyone else off work today? or sorta off work? I have to go in for an hour.
Sorta off work...
and I question how much it saves the library when I am still being paid during those weeks (and not by using banked vacation); they are arguing that the savings from not having to bring on-calls in to cover regular staff who take vacation over the holidays is significant enough to justify shutting down the libraries.
As long as you get paid.
Morna knitting? Not gonna happen. I'm either going with a drawing or making something with paperclay.
She can glass blow it, then.
It's always wrong to cheat on handsome Josh Duhamel.
What about with Jensen Ackles?

The veterans groups around here used to sell poppies on Veteran's Day. I don't think I saw any doing so today though.

I got the Hellboy: Seed of Destruction app a few weeks ago and I was a bit disappointed. If you love the art of comics you might feel the same way. Page layouts don't exist in that particular app, and how could they? A whole comic page can't be read on the scale of an iPod screen so they break it down into individual frames. But it isn't a bad thing to have in your pocket for long waits at the doctors office or other unexpected bits of boredom.

Personally, I'm leaning towards the premium, because it'll look and feel better, and it only adds about three bucks to the price of a single book. It is 35% heavier, though, so I'm assuming shipping costs will be higher.

My girlfriends are like the cereal in my house. They're both outdated.
And they stay crunchy, even in milk!
For years I've held the opinion that Stan's been an undiagnosed manic/depressive (heavy on the manic) for several decades.
In his book, 'Men of Tomorrow', Gerard Jones talks a bit about Stan's upbringing. Apparently, his mum always believes he was gonna be a big success and she lavished praise and attention on him at the expense of his dad and brother.
To his credit, Stan always felt guilty about this and did his best to make it up to Larry.

It's the last book Stan regularly worked on.
Not to mention the pile of rancid dogflop, "Just Imagine... Stan Lee created the DC Universe".
Man, I SO wanted that not to such wet farts from the arses of dead pigeons.
No such luck.

I think you may have shifted gears a little abruptly on me...
Unless you ARE talking about product placement on your breasts.
Which seems like a relatively sensible idea... or I'm drunk. Or both.
edit: no... no, 'dox got it too. Maybe both our minds were in the same place.

Our Pól is a relatively civilized drunken monkey type. The other types would likely tear your arm or face off just for the fun of it.

First season it was Hiro and Ando and the "Versa" and in the second season it's Claire and the "Rogue". ((cars))

There was a thing a couple years ago where Stan "recreated" a bunch of DC characters "The Marvel Way."
Might have been better had it been shorter, but it was done as this huge series of prestige one-shots.

Besides, Kirby and Ditko weren't around to do all the work, so it was hardly the Marvel way.

He started in 1948 at Timely if wikipedia is correct.

Define beginning. But he started working at Timely in 1948, left, came back in 66.

The art was nice, but it didn't really do it for me. I'm a big Doc Savage fan and Azzarello's take on the character fell a bit flat for me.

There are lots of fans of Mouse Guard here, right? I've been hesitant about picking it up. Yes, the art looks gorgeous, but I wasn't sure about the story.
Sooooo, say I could pick up the book for $5.98 at a local book store? Is that a good deal? How about if I apply a 40 percent coupon that makes it $3.57 before tax?
What about Noble Causes? I've read the first couple trades and liked them, but now see there are omnibuses out that collect those trades plus 16 more issues. However, the omnibus is in black and white. The only bothersome thing there is that they greyscaled the color comics instead of using the inked pencils to create the B & W omnibus. This muddies the art some. The same book store has it here for $7.98 (before any coupon)).
Yes, it's inexpensive, but I've always thought that "it's not a deal because it's cheap if you don't want/like/use it". Same thing I used to tell my grandparents when they'd buy four cases of peas at a time that no one would eat.
