I found it rather strange that there isn't one. I don't think there's anyone in the planet that doesn't love Morph. So I thought I'd make a thread about him and his loveliness.

I have to admit, he's my favourite character and for the longest time I didn't really like his super powers, it wasn't until I had taken a bio class that I took more of an appreciation of his powers, etc.

Do you suppose it's quite possible for Morph to be able to breathe under water (if he shapeshifted into a whale) or fly (when he shapeshifts into a bird)?

I think he should have his own series for a while. That would be whacky.

I'm not a fan of his costume, being a featureless body, minus his face, would just seem better, though that's just me...
I liked him in the first run of Exiles though, up until Proteus took over him. Now, well, not a fan...

I loved morph, and he was so funy in the frist Exiles, he was so funny when he turned into a frence maide, and made fun of wovie, and he always seemed to pick the team up

What about other versions of him? Like AoA or even 616?

I find that you need very good writers (with a good sense of humour) to really do a good Morph

Eric Idle? Michael Palin? (The usual funny gang) but that would NEVER happen.
I think a proper comedian should write Morph's character.

I like Morph and the fact that he's Michael Jackson's favorite character, am surprise that Marvel isn't trying to do anything with him

Well according to my mother who is a huge Michael Jackson fan "She's such a fan, she gets on my nervers sometimes" was watching a interview on the inernet about Michael Jackson and one of the reporters asked him "who is your favorite X-Men char' and Mr. Jackson respond with "Morph!"

i liked him in the cartoon. and he's always in my dream team lineups. if they bring the 616 version back i think a better look for him would be his look in the cartoon but w/ cat's eyes; just to make him stand out.

I find Changeling fascinating. I loved him in the tv show. It would be cool to see him come back. Did he appear in the Necrosha one shot?

No. But Changeling did come back as a zombie before, and was very loyal to Xavier (still) so I doubt they'd ever bring him back from the dead.

I am one person who does not like Morph. I find him corny and his sense of humor is unappealing. Deadpool is the version of him who tried too hard. Morph is the version of Deadpool who doesn't try at all.

Yeah, I think professional comedians should write Morph's scripts cos sometimes he isn't that funny either.

Agreed. AoA Morph was awesome. I didn't like how is was altered in Exiles. It was like they wanted to used AoA Moprh but then didn't. I would have prefered AoA Morph.

I was also kind of surprised we didn't see Changeling in Necrosha (yet... it's still early), but on the other hand it's been, what- 40+ years since he died? And he doesn't have major ties to any current characters the way Thunderbird, the Hellions, and Cypher do. He's showed up a couple times since he died... once in that Excalibur one-shot, "The Possession" I think it was called, as a villain, and then I think I heard he was in a She-Hulk arc of one of her series' as a hero.
