How to pronounce Extremis?

I know Tony doesn't have Extremis anymore but I have been reading through some earlier issues and was thinking about how to pronounce it. I always thought it was pronounced like extremity. I could also see how one could pronounce it extreme-is. So does anyone know the answer?
