View Full Version : Any Reasons Why They Left Out A Few Pre-Messiah Complex Issues?

I'm looking through Amazon thinking about picking up all of the post M-Day stories they're got collected in hardcover, and I'm a little peeved.

Between The Rise And Fall Of The Shi'ar Empire (Uncanny X-Men 475-486), Supernovas (X-Men 188-199) and Messiah Complex (Uncanny X-Men 492-494, X-Men 205-207), you've got the Extremists (Uncanny X-Men 487-491) and Blinded By The Light (X-Men 200-204) story arcs that were left on the wayside. I understand that Endangered Species was running at this point in the background (which they collected), but am I really supposed to take it those two arcs had absolutely no bearing on the plot? I actually haven't read either, so if so then I guess problem solved but I'm still confused as to why they left these out.

And then they leave out Divided We Stand (Uncanny X-Men 495-499), which I happened to enjoy. Jeez lol it's like they don't want me to have a hardcover X-Men collection. Do we know if there's anything in the works to correct these oversights, or was this just wonky editing?

Oh, and apparently they don't wanna do oversized hardcovers for X-Men: Legacy, but that's a rant for another thread lol.

They have them all in softcover. Stop being a whiny little bitch and get those instead.

Jesus.
