In honour of Rogue and Magneto, I give you the Age gap thread. Which young and old pairings would you like to see?

I'll start with a few I think might work...

Gambit and Mystique- She's been around for ages and what better way for Gambit to stick two fingers up to Rogue than to go with her foster mother. Plus they have criminal moral bankruptcy in common.

Daken and Mr Sinister- Daken's already had Claudine, When (and thats when, not if) Mr Sinister returns I think Daken will go for the set.

Wolverine's Harem- As it's Wolverine, he doesn't just get one young girl he gets a harem. Consisting of Kitty Pryde, Jubilee, Marrow and Rogue (behind Mag's back as now she has control she becomes a bit of a slut). Maybe he could have one for each of his titles.

Xavier and Jean Grey-Jean was horrified when she first found out about Xavier's attraction, still Scott's with Emma now and I say Beggar's can't be choosers.

Storm and Thor- The "thunderous"* rows alone would be worth the Admission fee.

Cyclops and Candra-Cyclops seems to like his extremely powerful and dangerous women. Candra would tick all the boxes.

Apocalypse and Hope
If she's as poweful as everyone thinks, Apocalypse would fancy a piece. As a team they'd confuse the hell out of enemies... "I AM APOCALYPSE" "and I'm Hope".

Doctor Nemesis and Cecilia Reyes-Because Doctors always end up dating other Doctors.

So that would make Sinister about 100 years older than him (we see him as Nathaniel Essex aged about 40 in roughly 1880) . Thats still quite an age gap!

That could be applied to a lot of the X-relationships over the years though.

Also to be honest I was thinking when she'd grown up a bit.
I do find it weird that people seem to find that one the least gross though, The age gap (even with Hope as an adult) would be thousands unlike say Jean and Xavier where you are talking about 30 years tops (How old is Xavier meant to be now?)

They are actually of an age, if anything Wanda maybe a couple years older at the most.

Another vote for Storm-Magneto, proviso someone can given them some actual chemistry which they really have not had yet, even though they were living in the same house for like 18 months (granted, it was while Magnus was seeing Lee).

The more I think about it the more I'd like to see Magneto and Storm have a relationship (Her being married is an insignificant detail in the grand schemes of the MU). I think there would be a mutual respect between them that could forge (no pun intended) a strong bond. .

I laughed out loud imagining X-mas at the Xavier mansion with those pairings (I know the mansion is dust at the moment but still), listening to the 4 of them bicker would be hilarious.

Candra admittedly could do better.

As I stated earlier I was imagining Hope in Adult form with Apoc.

Kurt is about 27-29 & Wanda was born 1950s, but she (& her bro) was put into suspended animation for while. So she only looks late 20s/early 30s.

Without the suspended animation she'd be in her 50 or 60.

*chuckle* Normally I would agree with you, but Lila had her "intergalactic thief for the thrill of it moments" and once upon a time (as shocking as this sounds), Sam was written as a very mature and intelligent young man. Not worldly wise as she was, but mature for his age. They met in the middle.

Sadly that characterization did not survive Claremont's departure from the New Mutants and Louise Simonson had him making an utter ass out of himself at Lila's next gig.

You know I always liked Lila with Gambit in AoA (even if you had to feel sorry for her as his heart was clearly with Rogue).

Laura and Wolverine is a minefield (when you consider Incest was made taboo really because of the birth defect factor, centuries ago it was rife) but I'd have to say Cable and Stryfe has to count as masturbation.

But twins and clones are different. Even twins have different genetic make-ups. The cloning that medical Dr.'s are always going on about is usually inducing twins, but when you grow a human being to be an exact dupe of the original I thought it was different. I only know this because of a paternity suit in my backwater state where this girl got pregnant after sleeping with twins on the same day and they are figuring out which twin in actually responsible for child support. I guess there is a way to figure it out, it is just really really expensive.

So if you could travel in time, and have sex with yourself, would that be maserbation? I'm just trying to find where the line is.

There was another thread that posed the query of whether or not time travel to go back and sleep with your spouse when they were hot would be considered cheating. Short answer: your wife would say yes.
