I've only seen this Tolibao's work on a pretty lame Iron Man annual - so I have no idea. So far, the art's looking almost cartoonishly amateur - but that just may be meta commentary from the story itself. As long as they go camp and go high ****ing camp, I think this thing will kick ass. Any shred of thematic complacency, same-old same-old, or x-book similarity? Sorry, couldn't care less then.

Storm is used to FF enemies, who are more galactic. Her husband defeated the Silver Surfer and she ravaged Ego the Living Planet. It really doesn't suit a comic book to show her facing more down to earth X-Men villains. Too bad she didn't choose to stand by the side of the man who saved her from a life of crime and primitive tribal savagery and go into space with him during RAFOTSE to redeem his tainted reputation. Instead, she moved on up onto the East Side and decided to bounce around the universe with more mainstream "heroes."

Right. She's always been used to treating her body from the perspective of someone else's gaze. When she was blind was the first time she began to rely more thoroughly on seeing as other people saw her. Merleau-Ponty would be fascinated by her.

Psylocke being a slut is sort of interesting. I think she is slutty (maybe not a slut) because she's taken so many partners in a relatively isolated community.
