Hi everyone!! So what is the Fuzzy Elf up to? He's my fave character but I haven't been picking up the X-Men for a looooong time. So is he still just a background character? Any storylines that involve him directly? Any love life? Thanks!!!

Not a lot... There was a one-shot a while back for 'Manifest Destiny' that followed up a little on his 12 part series from a few years ago, it was a good book.

He was wanted in Mighty Avengers but the X-team didn't want to hand him over so he's spending his time polishing Cyclops' shoes.

Hello, ccopas! Yes, he is still a background character. *sigh*
As for storylines that involve him directly, depends on when you stopped reading? He's been getting shot and stabbed and punched and tossed around and humiliated a lot the last couple years or so. I think it's a running joke. There was a short story where his sub-par performance in battle was explained as being due to him missing Kitty (who's floating through space in a huge bullet), then he quit the X-men in a one-shot because he felt useless, but re-joined at the end of it. He built a chapel in the X-headquarters in San Francisco, which no one visited and now they're moving to an island. But before they moved to San Francisco, he was being awesome on a road trip in Europe (Uncanny X-men #495-#499). Before that, he was wallpaper under Brubaker's pen.

As for love life, not really?

Did love his confrontation with Scalphunter after Messiah Complex. Thought that was a nicely written story.

I just read this yesterday, it was really good. He got to be like an X-Man and everything. I love stories with those three.

I don't think he's appeared in any books recently. If he has, I didn't notice.
