Does she have one, to speak of? Who could she be compared to, in terms of star power? Does she have any number one hits? Does she ever shoot any videos? I think the idea of a legitimate pop-star on a Superhero team is exciting and creative, but Dazzler doesn't seem to do anything other than small club shows.
Here's a picture to brighten this post up.

She cant have one.
She doesnt have the time to go record or promote or tour.
All she does is fight super villains, if she had her own comic maybe this could be explored but in team book this is impossible.

All she needs is another change of style...

She's probably performing off-panel, when she isn't cameoing in Uncanny...

Maybe back in the day. But recently, she was playing in run down trashy clubs in London, while being made fun of for being a has-been.

it KILLS me that i had to vote hell-to-the-no on this, i wish there had been an intermediate option...but the fact of the matter is, Dazzler was laughed out of the UK after failing as a trance act & was last seen on stage drugging club goers in Oakland. hardly what i would call a glamorous career.
god knows, i would love for a writer who actually understands what the character is about (Kieron Gillen, Kieron Gillen, Kieron Gillen) to write a nice balance of superheroics/superstardom...but i won't hold my breath.

That transparent kid from the Uncanny/X-Men arc before Casey and Morrison took over mentioned how he had both of Dazzler's albums, so it's canon that she had at least some type of career at some point.
Dazzler's career is going nowhere fast. She has had to resort to drugging her audience with Pixie dust and now she's trapped on a sinking island.

Not to mention the go awful lesbian-techno phase she went through....yeah Ali, THATS the ticket to stardom...
But during Gail Simone's run on Deadpool, they showed Dazzler being very popular and on the road to a career comeback, which was more or less stunted by the above-mentioned lesbian techno phase that Claremont put her in.

But seriously, during Gail Simone's Deadpool run, they showed Dazzler making a career comeback and gaining popularity again, though this was more or less abandoned by Claremont when he made her Ali into a techno lesbian.

She was D-List for a bit, but she's getting her fanbase back now that she has a dancing fairy girl peeing out drugs all over her audience.

She had a concert in Dazzler #21, in Uncanny #50?, and in some part of X-23 TX. She even had lyrics in Dazzler #21.

Dazzler is an early 80s hasbeen. She has no career and needs to just give it up already

Easy there, some have said the same of the person in your avatar whereas "career" = "life."

There are many instances of characters in the MU being fans from Juggernaut to Spider Man to the Wasp. Even a Fraption said that she had a few Top 10s.

Dazzler hatred is so 1990's, just so anyone wonders. Gosh. What scum-sucking nostalgics. 9_9
Go buy an X-Cutioner's Song trade or something.

As for the career, you find any other has been that's had Odin say she rocks. O-freakin-DIN! AND beat Doom (Other than maybe Squirrel Girl)
Go read X-Men Unlimited #32.

Dont get me wrong, I like Dazzler but the singing does nothing for her character at this point. It was a defining aspect of her back in the early 80s when disco was all the rage but times have changed and the writers do her no favor by trying to rejuvenate a career. She does look like a hasbeen performing in random clubs. Dazzler, the rising star, is a thing of the past. They'd do her more justice to focus on her being a superheroine and living in this decade. She hasnt been written well since the 80s and hasnt made the transition to the 90s and now 00s well. Right now she hasnt done anything signicant in the X-men...she's just there.

Am I the only peson who remembers the classic Uncanny annual where Alison was given the choice of being a successful lawyer, a singing megastar, or a bum...
She chose bum.
