Rather than create a new thread each time I have news on the TV on DVD releases, I'm just going to post it here.

This is only when it's the only information I have to post. Otherwise I'll probably just post it in my regular TV/Film Updates.

Great news about new Arrested Development and Kids in the Hall DVDs. I've been waiting for those forever.

I like the new Simpson Season box design but a tiny little anal fanboy voice in head keeps bitching that wish they kept consistent with the old box design. SHUT UP ANAL FANBOY VOICE!!!!!

Anxious to hear more specs on the Fourth Batman Animated set will come out. There were some fun episodes in that run. Especially the awesome Klarion and Demon episode.

And that Rift news was pretty good. It's a funny show and $20 is cheaper than I thought the DVD would be. I'll probably pick it up if it's uncensored.


Also, at Star Wars Celebration III, George Lucas himself said they were working on Young Indy DVDs. I was hoping that news article was about a release date, instead of a "Yeah, they're still working on 'em" type thing. Can't win 'em all, I guess.

Awesome 'cause I thought you were linking to the box art, not that article about the general release. I was gonna buy the Best Buy exclusive Season 1 this week. Notice the past tense. I'll wait for the general release with more extras.

They look pretty spiffy. I miss the couch gag but that could have gotten pretty old. Glad they are trying something new. Question is how will they fit on my shelf?

I saw on the "Too Late" show with Adam Carolla the "TJ Hooker" box set. Just showing that item was the joke and a good one.

Why can't I get "Cop Rock" released on DVD? In spite of the ridicule, it was an awesome show and very well written and performed.

This happened to me, so I thought I'd pass along the information.

If you bought Lost Season One and/or Desperate Housewives Season One, but didn't get the booklet, you need to call Buena Vista Home Entertainment at 1-800-477-8211 and they will send you a copy. Apparently a lot of the sets are missing the booklets so I would guess there's gonna be a wait.

Personally, I'd only buy the DVD cases that had the regular box art. I don't have the shelf space or interest in the "special" artwork.

I'm personally waiting on Quantum Leap season 4. They were releasing them at a good pace and then bam, just when season 3 ends with a decent cliff hanger.
